Chapter 7 - Luna, Soleil and Clara

In Celestia, magic has long been a source of wonder and fascination, and within the realm of magical abilities, Mana Hearts plays a pivotal role. Mana Hearts are intrinsic to individuals who possess a natural aptitude for magic, and their significance lies in the unique connection they provide to the ethereal forces of magic. As a result, those who are born with Mana Hearts can become soldiers, a knight, a scholar, a magic swordmaster, and even a court magician, Some are even in business.

Having a Mana's heart guarantees a person's status, for they can be anyone who they hope to be.

Although a Mana Pool is a completely different story for it is a fundamental concept that serves as a reservoir of magical energy, this is essential for spellcasting for magician practitioners and other mystical endeavors which fall under those who are sword masters. Understanding the type of mana pool you have and its limitations provides insight into the intricate workings of magical practices.

There are 5 known Mana Pools and their corresponding magic capacities can be categorized into various sizes, each representing a different level of magical potential. The mana pool size is the universal belief in Celestia and of the Lyrria Continent, and regardless of your chosen path, it determines the person's ability to utilize it as their own.

First is the Puddle Mana Pool, its Magic Capacity is quite low and more suitable for casting minor cantrips and simple enchantments.

Second is the Spring Magic Pool, their Magic Capacity is moderate, which enables them the cast basic spells and supportive enchantments.

Third is the Pond Mana Pool, their Magic Capacity is a big bigger something regular nobles usually have which allows them to cast a range of intermediate spells and magical effects.

Then we have the Lake Mana Pool, it's Magic Capacity is Significant for the nation for it can facilitate the casting of powerful spells and sustained magical endeavors.

Lastly, we have the Sea Mana Pool, its magic capacity is vast and empowers the casting of grand-scale spells and intricate magical rituals. Simple spells can be deadly if created by those who have this type of mana pool.

Nevertheless, there is one final Mana Pool that only a few are blessed with, and are called many names; High Humans, Heroes, and Children touched by God Celes. They have the Ocean Mana Pool, where they have an immense magical capacity that never runs dry and enables them to cast legendary spells and manipulate profound magical forces.

"Oh god damn it," Lyanna whispers as she while gasping for air. She felt like she was poured a bucket of iced cold water at the revelation she saw! And Her mana pool turned into a vast ocean! A lake was enough to call her a prodigy but an ocean?

She should be thankful. But she wasn't. Having an Ocean MP can only mean one thing, she has a job to do that the Gods failed to finish. "This is like taking out my brother's stinky laundry from their training."

Lyanna immediately got up as she was expecting a majestic purple phoenix, but she was instead greeted by a bundle of feathers, she carefully reached the sight of the soft bundle of purple feathers, and as her hand gently caressed she was greeted with two smaller versions of the one she was expecting.

"Avious" Lyanna mumbles, her word bearing a heavy statement, then she smiles, her eyes were a comforting gaze as she gently patted the two baby phoenixes, "Your father left you with me huh? Do you guys even have a name?"

'Luna~' The one with a lighter shade said.

'Soleil!' followed by the other one.

Lyanna lowered her head and then placed a kiss on the two phoenixes' forehead–it was the final act to seal the contract, "I'm Lyanna, your ward. It's great to meet you."

The two bundles of feathers happily nuzzle her cheek, making Lyanna feel ticklish.

Lyanna's memories have returned thanks to Avious, now she understands why he risked it all, it was all because of these two magical beasts and how they all waited for her arrival, she doesn't need to hear it from Luna and Soleil, she could see it in their eye how long it took. It was after all common knowledge for spiritual beasts to become very attached to their chosen master, they would wait until their true master was born.

"Luna, Soleil, we've got much to do." She placed them down on the Mythril stone and stood up, "before anything else…" Lyanna paused.

"Clara"

Lyanna mumbled, a magic circle appeared while a subtle light illuminated the dark forest, immediately a small figure the size of her hand surrounded with light came face to face with Lyanna.

"Master!" cried the small creature, she looked human well minus the wings plus glitter skin. "Master, I was so so worried!" Clara added, which made Lyanna smile, she extended her hand a signal of wanting to hug Clara.

Lyanna felt warmth on her chest as Clara flew in for a hug, crying. She felt the despair in her cries for she was a contracted creature, their emotions were linked as part of a contract, Lyanna's hand carefully cupped the fairy, her lovely violet eyes glimmering as the moon slowly peeked out from opening up the cave.

"Oh master--what happened to your skin, and your clothes!" as if seeing something horrifying, the pinked-haired fairy fluttered her wings around her, with a shocked face. "Well…?" Clara's voice trailed as she just noticed Luna and Soleil.

The pink-haired fairy raised her brows, " A pleasure Little ones, we have waited for your arrival." she greeted, and the two nodded their heads.

Clara turned back to her master, giving off a teasing glare.

"Haha…I" Lyanna said in a soft voice as she watched Clara's glare slowly soften.

"I saw it, I should not have trusted the human. I should have just asked Father to take you to the fair realm. I'm sorry master. I did not protect you well." Clara said with tears in her eyes which Lyanna carefully patted its head.

"It was not your fault." Lyanna was sure that Clara did everything she could to keep Lyanna safe, which might be one of the reasons she lived that long.

"Well then! Let's get you cleaned up!" Clara said while turning in the direction she mentioned. Lyanna nodded, after all, she couldn't protest against Clara. "Oh and open the thing you have kept your items."

Lyanna rolled her eyes and snapped her fingers to open her storage box. It was a neat trick her father created, he mentioned how it was a Space-Time magic, a combination magic he created. He mentioned how anything put into it does not spoil, to which Kaspian called a Fridge--Something Lyanna never truly understood which took her a while to learn the spell.

There are 4 primary elements, Earth, Wind, Fire, and Water. combining elements creates multiple types of magic. Then there is the non-lement magic which is Light, Darkness, and Time. Although, Lyanna's father taught them that their imagination was truly the key to strong magic spells or creating new ones.

"Clara, do you think you can ask your Fae friends for information?" Lyanna asked as she finished washing, she noticed Clara got a hold of the fairy silk gift given to her on her 5th birthday, it was said that as long as it was woven by a fairy they could create any clothes.

Clara looked up from her work, "I could. Fairies does love to gossip."

"Information on my siblings. mainly the young ones that had not formed a contract with fairies, they have less protection. The other contracted faires might have felt the changes in their masters too. Clara, my awakening will trigger my siblings next." Lyanna stood in the mirror and looked at herself, a small smile forming on her lips.

"As you knew back then, the protectors of Kaspian and Aerone have not returned, it's a great shame to fail to protect your master--"

"They're alive."

Clara raised her brow, "What do you mean?"

"My two oldest brothers are alive and kicking." Lyanna's warm purple eyes darkened, which Luna, Soleil, and Clara noticed, "I'll deal with those two later...They better have a good excuse on why have they not ransacked the surrounding kingdoms looking for us."
