Lucas had his head up as he couldn't stop laughing, the fringes of his short hair hiding his eyes, and the side of his body squirming as it started healing at an accelerated pace, regenerating from the wounds that had left him weakened and with his senses dull.
He didn't care about that as he remained in the crater, the water that started falling from the sky either due to what happened or because of the vacuum Lucas left after he seemed to have absorbed the energy from the explosion wetting him.
His wet face made it impossible to notice if he had let his tears mixed within. But even if he didn't, the river of grief remained strong on its course.
