Appraisers are rare. Because there's only one magic book available. And the people who want be an appraiser has to learn the magic from the magic book in a certain academy. It's in England. The only academy in the world that can teach appraisal magic.
I was born and raised in Searise. I entered Hero Academy but even though I graduated just fine, I knew that I didn't have enough talent to continue as a Hero. So I continue my study in England to be an appraiser.
Once you completed your study as appraiser, you will be sent to wherever an appraiser is needed. And I returned back to Searise as an appraiser.
I thought life was fine. I met my wife, had children, had grandchildren, and the salary I got from my job was great. I had a happy life.
Well, that's not entirely the truth. Because my job was the shittiest.
