As the Ark car soared through the sky, Eon watched as the familiar neighborhood grew smaller and smaller. He couldn't help but feel a sense of unease mixed with anticipation. The unknown lay ahead, and he had to brace himself for whatever awaited him at his grandfather's home.
District 7
After what felt like a short journey, the car touched down in front of a grand estate nestled amidst lush greenery. It was an impressive sight, and Eon couldn't help but feel a twinge of nervousness as he stepped out of the car.
A butler, dressed in a formal suit, greeted Eon at the entrance. He introduced himself as Mr. Jenkins and offered a warm smile.
"Welcome, young master Eon," Mr. Jenkins said. "Your grandfather has been eagerly awaiting your arrival. He is in the study and would like to meet you."
Eon nodded and followed Mr. Jenkins into the sprawling mansion. The halls were adorned with elegant artwork and antique furniture, giving the place an air of sophistication. Eon's footsteps echoed through the corridors as he made his way to the study.
As they approached the study, Eon took a deep breath to steady himself. He could hear muffled voices coming from within. Mr. Jenkins opened the door, and Eon stepped inside.
Sitting behind a massive mahogany desk was an older man, with a distinguished appearance and a kind smile on his face. Eon recognized the resemblance to his father in his grandfather's features.
"Eon, my grandson," the man said, his voice filled with warmth. "I've been eagerly awaiting your arrival. Please, come in."
Eon walked forward, feeling a mix of nervousness and curiosity. His grandfather stood up and extended his hand, which Eon shook firmly.
"I'm honored to finally meet you," his grandfather said. "I know this is a challenging time for you, but I want you to know that you're not alone. You're part of this family, and I'm here to support you in any way I can."
"thank you grandfather, I was wondering-"
"Ring"
"Ring"
"excuse me eon, let me see who's calling"
"Yes"
Eon's grandfather excused himself and answered the phone, leaving Eon standing in the study, his mind racing with questions and anticipation. He looked around the room, taking in the shelves filled with books and the various artifacts that adorned the walls. It was clear that his grandfather was a man of knowledge and refined taste.
After a few minutes, his grandfather ended the call and returned to the study, a slightly furrowed brow replacing his earlier warm smile.
"I apologize, Eon," he said with a sigh. "It seems there's an urgent matter that requires my attention. But please, have a seat. We will have plenty of time to talk and get to know each other."
Eon nodded and took a seat in one of the plush chairs facing his grandfather's desk. He couldn't help but feel a mix of disappointment and understanding. He knew that his grandfather had his own responsibilities and obligations.
"I'm sorry for the interruption," Eon said politely. "I understand that you have important matters to attend to."
His grandfather nodded appreciatively. "Thank you for your understanding, Eon. Family is important, and I want you to know that you are a priority for me. We will have ample time to reconnect and build a relationship."
Eon managed a small smile, grateful for his grandfather's reassurance. In his heart, he hoped that this new chapter in his life would bring him the stability and support he had been longing for.
"As a start," his grandfather continued, "Mr. Jenkins will show you to your room and introduce you to the staff. Take your time to settle in and make yourself at home. We can continue our conversation later, once things have settled down."
Eon nodded, appreciating the thoughtfulness of his grandfather's words. It was clear that his grandfather wanted him to feel welcome and comfortable in this new environment.
"Thank you, grandfather," Eon replied gratefully. "I look forward to getting to know you"
His grandfather smiled warmly. "The feeling is mutual, Eon. Welcome to your new home."
With that, Eon stood up and followed Mr. Jenkins out of the study. As they walked through the mansion, Eon couldn't help but feel a glimmer of hope. Despite the challenges he had faced, a new chapter had begun, and he was determined to make the most of it.
As he settled into his new room, surrounded by the unfamiliar yet luxurious surroundings, Eon reflected on the events that had brought him here. He was astonished and intimidated by his new surroundings, he didn't want to be a loser anymore, he wanted to change. those were the thoughts he had just before slowly drifting off to sleep.
In Samuels office "That damned worthless idiomatic, bug, dares to defy, my orders, I'm going to rip him limb to limb, and feed his entire corpse to a pack of wild animals" Samuel, Eons grandfather
"Sir please calm down, I have sent the Alpha team after him, will find out soon enough why he defied your orders"
Mr. Jenkins
"Do you have any idea how important, that artifact is, if anyone finds out that it was us who stole the artifact, Dalias won't just sit, still"
"don't worry, sir, will find him, we are also torturing all of his former teammates for information it's only a matter of time, before we find his whereabouts"
In Eon's room. As Eon was sleeping, a bracelet that he had around his left arm, started to glow a red aura around it, the bracelet is something Eon found on his cat, Ferguson's tale a year ago, he's had it with him ever since.
As Eon slept, fragments of a dark nightmare began infiltrating his mind. Flashes of chilling images flickered before his eyes - death, murder, chaos and destruction spreading as far as he could see. People screamed in agony, their tormented cries echoing without end.
Eon tried to look away, but the scenes clung to him like shadows, dragging him deeper into madness with each passing moment. Blood soaked the ground and stained the skies, the acrid smell of fire and decay clinging to his senses. Figures writhed and twisted in the grip of unfathomable torment, their broken forms splayed across a ruined landscape.
Through it all, a sense of creeping dread crawled over Eon's skin, a nameless evil that laughed at the suffering it brought. Its presence loomed like an enclosing fog, swallowing up everything in an ocean of madness and despair. Eon opened his mouth to scream, but no sound escaped as the darkness closed in around him.
He awoke with a start, bolting upright in bed with his heart racing. Yet as the last threads of sleep faded, so too did the memory of the nightmare. All that remained was a lingering sensation of profound horror that sent shivers down his spine. Eon glanced around the darkened room, clutching at his blanket as if afraid the shadows might come alive. But silence and stillness were all that greeted him.
Unsettled, Eon laid back down yet remained awake for a long time, trying to forget the nameless terror that still clung to the edges of his mind. Little did he know the darkness had only just begun to stir, and far worse nightmares awaited on the path ahead. As Eon slept, fragments of a dark nightmare began infiltrating his mind.
