Though Aditya had prepared himself, the sting of her rejection still pierced his heart deeply. He gently clasped her delicate hands within his own, pleading, "Please, do not dismiss me so hastily. I understand that it may seem too soon, as we only crossed paths yesterday, but my heart knows what it desires. Never before in my existence have I felt such an intense attraction towards another soul. I never believed in love at first sight until I laid eyes upon you, and now I am certain of its existence. Whenever you grace my presence, my heart races as if in a marathon. And when I gaze into your eyes, oh, how I long to be lost in their depths for eternity. I understand if you doubt my words, but I implore you to trust that every syllable that escapes my lips is the absolute truth."
As he continued to speak, his grip on her hands tightened. Ava stared at him, her mind blank and uncertain. She was at a loss for words, unsure of how to respond or what to feel. Though she yearned to free her hands from his grasp, she found herself unable to do so.
"I understand that you may not believe me now, but I beg of you, grant me just two months. I will devote myself entirely to pursuing you, to making you fall in love with me. Please, allow me this opportunity to win your heart. If, after two months, you still feel nothing or cannot envision a future with me as your boyfriend and you as my girlfriend... then I swear, I will vanish from your life forever. I will never disturb you again. So please, grant me this chance to pursue you. Do not reject me."
Aditya had never before pleaded with anyone in his entire life. He was accustomed to getting what he desired without having to ask. But for the first time, he yearned for someone so deeply that he knew he could not force her love. He craved her presence, her lips, her eyes, her heart, her body, her very essence. He longed to possess every part of her.
Ava found herself speechless, a sensation she had never experienced before. For the first time, she did not wish to reject someone. Deep within her heart, she too desired to be pursued, to feel the embrace of true love. Perhaps, just maybe, Aditya could provide her with that.
With a sigh, she finally gazed upon the person before her, who looked at her with such fervor. "Very well. I shall grant you two months. If, within this time, you fail to make me fall in love with you, then you shall never disturb me again," she uttered, though her heart ached slightly as she spoke the latter part.
A radiant smile graced Aditya's face. His sudden smile made him even more handsome, if that were possible. Ava was momentarily captivated by his striking smile. Shaking off her trance, she rose from her seat. By now, both of them had finished their lunch.
"Thank you, Ava. You have no idea how much joy you have brought me by giving me this chance," Aditya said, his smile still present.
"Uh, yes, you're welcome," Ava replied awkwardly.
"I shall see you then."
Even after saying those words, he lingered, his gaze fixed upon her. Little did Ava know how much Aditya was restraining himself. He yearned to seize her neck and passionately kiss her, to the point where she would lose her senses. He wanted to kiss her until she forgot everything, until she couldn't even remember herself.
Ava cleared her throat, feeling the intensity of his gaze, and said, "You... should leave. You must have work to attend to. I, too, have a meeting to attend."
Aditya finally sighed to himself. "Soon, my dear," he murmured. "Soon." With that, he left, his mind filled with anticipation.

Ava, weary from the burdens of the day, finally found solace upon her couch. The weight of exhaustion settled upon her like a heavy cloak. The day had been a whirlwind of back-to-back meetings, leaving her drained and longing for respite. And yet, amidst the chaos, there was something else that had unsettled her - the confession of 'him'.
As she prepared to indulge in a well-deserved dinner, her tranquility was abruptly interrupted by the shrill ring of her phone. Curiosity mingled with caution as she glanced at the screen, only to find an unfamiliar number staring back at her. Few were privy to her personal contact information, reserved solely for those closest to her heart. With a hint of trepidation, she answered the call, her voice laced with curiosity, "Hello! Who is this?"
Silence greeted her inquiry, leaving her perplexed and slightly unnerved. "Hello? Who is this?" she repeated, her words echoing into the void. Yet, all that reached her ears was the sound of heavy breathing, a haunting melody of uncertainty.
With a sigh of resignation, she decided to end the call, dismissing it as a mere wrong number. Little did she know, on the other end of the line, Aditya stared at his phone, his heart heavy with regret. His intention had been to summon the courage to invite Ava on a date, to ask her if she would grace him with her presence tomorrow. However, the moment she answered, his words became prisoners within his own throat. Her voice, so enchanting and captivating, rendered him speechless, leaving him unable to utter even a single syllable. Thus, he could only listen as she repeatedly questioned his identity, her voice growing more distant with each abrupt disconnection.
Never before had he experienced such overwhelming nervousness, a paralyzing sensation that robbed him of his voice."What has happened to you Adi?! You were never like this before, it's like you become so nervous to even utter a single word correctly! Shame on you" He chastised himself.
