Her voice, so enchanting and captivating, rendered him speechless, leaving him unable to utter even a single syllable. Thus, he could only listen as she repeatedly questioned his identity, her voice growing more distant with each abrupt disconnection.

Never before had he experienced such overwhelming nervousness, a paralyzing sensation that robbed him of his voice."What has happened to you Adi?! You were never like this before, it's like you become so nervous to even utter a single word correctly! Shame on you" He  chastised himself.

In a dimly lit room, faint whimpering sounds echoed through the air. Ava, the girl lying on the bed, struggled to regain consciousness. Restlessly, she tossed and turned, desperately trying to catch her breath. Suddenly, with a piercing scream, Ava jolted awake.

Startled, she sat up abruptly, her heart racing. Taking deep breaths, she attempted to calm herself down. Glancing at the clock, she realized it was midnight. Determined to shake off the remnants of her nightmare, she finally mustered the courage to get out of bed and make her way to the bathroom.

As she stared at her reflection in the mirror, Ava noticed the telltale signs of distress. Her face was swollen, her hair disheveled and clinging to her damp forehead. Letting out a sigh, she splashed cold water on her face, hoping to wash away the lingering fear. These nightmares had become all too familiar, and Ava was exhausted. She longed for a peaceful night's sleep, free from the torment of her subconscious.

After freshening up, Ava walked over to her bedside drawer and retrieved a small bottle of medicine. She carefully swallowed a couple of sleeping pills, a necessary aid for her insomnia. Without them, she knew she would struggle to find solace in slumber after waking from her nightmares.

Gradually, the medication took effect, lulling Ava into a tranquil sleep devoid of any disturbances.

The next day, Ava trudged into her office, her head throbbing with a relentless headache. Despite the pain, she forced herself to sit at her desk and continue working. It was as if she had transformed into a walking volcano, ready to erupt at the slightest provocation. The employees around her knew better than to make any mistakes, for they would bear the brunt of her fiery temper.

Meanwhile, there were a few unfortunate souls who had to report their files to the CEO. They prayed fervently for a smooth interaction, hoping to avoid the wrath of their boss. One by one, they entered her office, only to be met with loud yelling and scolding. The entire office trembled in fear, knowing that their boss was in a terrible mood. She was like a cold, female Satan, striking fear into the hearts of everyone.

After the storm of yelling and scolding subsided, the office fell into an eerie silence. The employees left to redo their reports, hoping to avoid any further outbursts. Ava, still nursing her pounding headache, scowled in frustration. "They can't even do a single thing properly," she muttered under her breath. She groaned and rubbed her temples, desperately seeking relief. Just as she was trying to find some solace in her chair, her personal cellphone rang.

Without even bothering to look, Ava picked up the phone and answered with a tired voice, "Hello?" The exhaustion was evident in her voice, causing Aditya, the caller, to become slightly worried. He sat up abruptly in his chair, concern etched on his face. "Hey, are you okay, Ava?" he asked, his voice filled with genuine concern.

"Yes, I'm fine. May I know who's calling?" Ava replied, her confusion evident. The caller had asked about her well-being without even introducing himself. As she listened to the voice on the other end saying, "I'm Aditya," her heart skipped a beat. The sound of his name sent a rush of emotions through her, making her heartbeat quicken even more.

Ava's heart, once steady and calm, quickened its pace upon hearing the caller's name. The mere mention of 'Aditya' stirred a whirlwind of emotions within her. She had almost forgotten about his proposal and the passing of two months. With a deep breath, she composed herself and greeted him with a polite "Hello Mr. Aditya. How may I be of assistance?"

"Can I ask you something?" Aditya, fidgeting with his fingers, mustered the courage to ask her something he had been unable to do the day before. His nervousness was palpable, a sensation he had never experienced before. But when it came to Ava, his courage seemed to vanish into thin air.

"Yes, of course," Ava replied, her voice slightly strained. For a moment, there was silence on the other end of the line, a silence that seemed to stretch on indefinitely.

Finally, Aditya found the words he had been searching for. "Will you accompany me on a date?" he asked, his voice filled with trepidation.

Ava's mind went blank at the sound of those words. She was at a loss for what to say. "Should I say yes?" she pondered. "But what if it leads to a wrong decision?" Lost in her thoughts, Ava was startled when she heard Aditya's voice once again, pleading softly, "Please?"

In that moment, Ava's doubts vanished, and she found herself unable to deny him. "Alright then. What should I wear?" she asked, her voice tinged with a mix of uncertainty and excitement.

"Anything will do. Just be comfortable, alright?" Aditya's voice exuded joy and anticipation.

"Okay," Ava replied, her heart fluttering with newfound anticipation. "I'll see you at 5, and you can pick me up."

After the conversation ended, Ava leaned back in her chair, feeling a sense of relief wash over her. The pounding headache that had plagued her earlier had dissipated completely. It was as if the moment she heard Aditya's voice, all discomfort melted away from her body. Though she tried to maintain an air of nonchalance, deep down, she couldn't help but feel a glimmer of excitement for the upcoming date.
