As Asumi climbed back up, raising his gaze, before he knew it, he found himself staring into the piercing gaze of the apex predator.
Asumi felt a shiver, but that wasn't going to stop him this time. He turned his gaze to the beautiful white flower in the corner.
In a moment of desperation, Asumi went for the flower, hastily stretching and plucking a small piece from its petals. But before he could react, the wolf lunged forward, slapping him with its paw, sending him tumbling down the hillside.
Fighting against gravity, Asumi managed to grip onto the wall, his legs digging into the rock as he desperately tried to slow down his descent. Asumi muttered, "Come on, I've gotten this far. I can't die now."
