As the hawk carried him higher into the sky, Asumi knew he had to act fast. "System, how many free stat points do I have left?"

Asumi commented, "Sweet," as he opened his mandibles, spilling out green goo, channeling all his strength. With a swift bite to the hawk's leg, Asumi unleashed his toxic venom into its body, watching as it spread through the predator's veins.
The hawk, now dizzy and disoriented, faltered in its flight, its grip on Asumi weakening. With a sudden release, Asumi felt himself plummeting through the air, the rush of wind roaring in his ears as he fell towards the forest below. Panic seized him for a moment.
"Crap, I'm falling too fast," he mused. But then, with a serious glare, he spread his wings wide, refusing to die just yet.
