The two of them came out of the kitchen, and Mother Ye keenly noticed that Sheng Junlie was now a different person from when he had entered the room earlier. He had carried a cold air before, but now he seemed warm and friendly.
"Junlie, come and sit down. Little Ling made braised pork today, and it's even better than what you get at a five-star hotel. You should try it," Mother Ye said as she picked up a piece of braised pork and put it in his bowl.
Ye Ling didn't have time to stop her and said, "Mom, don't give him food. Let him serve himself."
Sheng Junlie had a bit of OCD and although he didn't insist on using separate chopsticks for family meals, he didn't like others serving him food.
She was about to take the braised pork out of his bowl with her chopsticks, but saw Sheng Junlie calmly pick it up and put it in his mouth.
She looked at him suspiciously, afraid that he would dislike it.
