Ye Ling glanced at her phone screen and flipped it over, placing it on the table. She continued to eat her wontons, as if the clear broth wasn't satisfying enough, she added two scoops of chili oil to it.
The chili oil floated on the surface of the soup, fiery red.
Lu Zhan glanced at her fair face and the lips reddened by the spiciness, his heart inexplicably fluttering. He cleared his throat and asked, "Aren't you afraid of the spiciness?"
"The spicier, the better," Ye Ling replied. She then seemed to remember something and fell into reminiscence. "There's a wonton shop outside of Emperor University that serves really delicious chili oil. When I was studying there, I practically had breakfast and supper there every day."
"That sounds great," Lu Zhan chuckled."If there's a chance, I'll take you there to relive the old times," Ye Ling said as she stuffed another wonton into her mouth. She finished the bowl of wontons, sweating profusely.
