After a while, Alysia began to recover from her shock and realized she was still on the line with Austin.
Suppressing her urge to immediately drive back to the college, she asked, "Tell me how you accomplished the sin. Wait, no, tell me the complete story starting from when I dropped you off until you completed the sin. Don't leave out any details!"
Austin obediently shared the entire account of his discord and fight with William.
Alysia listened attentively without interrupting as he recounted the story. However, he could sense her breathing becoming more ragged the further he delved into the narrative.
After a few minutes of recounting the story, Alysia broke the silence, asking, "That's it?"
"Yeah?" Austin hesitated, uncertain about what more Alysia might want. Should he delve into additional details, including his shower time?
Just as he entertained this idea, Alysia's voice chimed in again. "I'll call you again later."
Thud
Thud
Thud
Without waiting for Austin's response, Alysia decisively ended the call.
Confused, he stared at his phone before shuffling it back into his pocket.
Why did Alysia sound surprised?
Was it, as he had guessed, that the whole situation wasn't supposed to unfold this smoothly?
He snapped out of his thoughts when he felt a pinch on his waist. Lifting his head, he saw it was Satella's doing. However, this time, she had taken off her huge eyeglasses. Her scarlet eyes were now visible, and his heartbeat unconsciously sped up under her intense gaze.
It felt like she wasn't staring at his face, but into his very soul.
"W-what's wrong?" Without him realizing it, his tone had inexplicably become tense.
Typically, it was Satella who would always fidget in nervousness around him. However, it was a different case when Satella took off her glasses, as it usually spelled trouble for him.
"Nee~, who is it, brother? I could hear from the phone that the one who called you was a woman. And you seem to be very close for you to even share your day. Is it your friend... or...?" Satella whispered softly beside his ears, drawing circles on his chest with her slender finger.
Because they were sitting on a single bench, she could only perform such gestures by crawling onto his left thigh and sitting down completely on it.
Fortunately, the bench he had chosen was just behind the tree. So, their intimate position was completely concealed from the eyes of others. However, Austin was still embarrassed; after all, it was broad daylight, and there were many students passing by the park.
However, he knew he couldn't return Satella to her initial position when he saw that dangerous glint in her eyes. It meant she wasn't going to let him off unless he answered her question first.
"It's just a friend! We only knew each other today!" Austin hurriedly explained.
Satella shot him a look that said, 'I don't believe you' and 'do you take me for a child.' "If she's just a friend, why were you so compliant on the call with her just now? You even went as far as giving her a recap of your morning just because she told you to do so."
"Because I... I owe her," Austin said after a brief pause, trying to find the right words to describe his relationship with Alysia.
"What do you owe her?" Satella fiddled with the buttons of his clothes.
"Money!"
Click!
Austin looked down in shock, seeing a choke collar wrapped around his neck.
"Y-you!"
"Hehe~ brother, don't even think about lying. I also brought my 'tools' today~" Satella remarked in a joyful tone. There was a slightly crazed look in her eyes, but she hid it almost immediately.
"If you continue to lie, I'll increase the pressure, hmm? So, you better tell me the truth now. What did you owe her?"
This time, Austin didn't hesitate to admit the truth. "I owe her my life!"
He knew that once Satella brought her 'tools', there was no point in lying anymore, and he better immediately complies with her demand.
Satella gave Austin a deep stare that seemed capable of detecting lies, and after a while, she slightly lessened the pressure of the choke collar around Austin's neck. "This time you didn't lie."
Austin heaved a sigh of relief.
However, she immediately gave him a worried look. "Did you just go through a life-threatening situation, brother?"
"You can say that. Were it not for her, I would be dead right now," Austin confessed.
Satella's eyes widened, and she hastily roamed her hands across his whole body to check if he was injured anywhere. "What happened to you? Did someone want to kill you?" As she finished her sentence, her eyes gleamed with murderous intent.
Austin embarrassedly stopped her wandering hands and answered, "It wasn't that serious. It's already been solved."
Satella nodded her head, but her eyes still fixed worriedly on him. "If you had chosen to enroll at the college near our home, that kind of incident would never have happened to you."
Austin could only give her a dry laugh.
"So, what's her name?" asked Satella, seemingly uncomfortable to continue. "The girl who saved you."
"Her name is Alysia," Austin said concisely.
"Alysia..." Satella's voice trailed off before she spoke again. "So, what's the relationship between the two of you now?"
"Benefactor and debtor?" Austin replied unsurely. There was supposed to be another one. That's the Master and Servant relationship. But it was obvious that he couldn't tell Satella that.
God knows what she would do once she learns that information. Most importantly, the Master and Servant relationship involved his new identity as a demon.
It entailed a long story, and he wasn't fond of the idea of telling his family about this dangerous supernatural world when he himself was still a newbie in this aspect. Perhaps in the future, when he had a better understanding of the matter, he might tell his family about it.
"I can sense that your words only carry half-truth," Alysia narrowed her eyes.
'What? She can tell too?' Austin was shocked. Did Satella have some kind of mind-reading technique?
"But since she saved your life, I will let it slide this time." To his relief, Satella didn't pursue the matter.
Suddenly, Satella closed the distance between them and breathed directly into his right ear. "But it will be a different case if I find out that you both are in a romantic relationship. You must not get into any romantic relationship, okay?"
"Huh? Why not?" Austin subconsciously asked.
"Because your heart only belongs to me." Satella tapped his chest.
"B-but, we're siblings..." Austin argued lightly while trying his best to suppress the moans threatening to escape his lips from being teased on his ear by Satella's hot breath.
"Yes, but we're not blood-related," Satella said softly, lightly licking the tip of Austin's ear, which sent shivers down his spine and caused his whole body to freeze.
"Furthermore, you've defiled my body. So, naturally, you must take responsibility for it." Satella backed away and stared at Austin's lips as if wanting to devour them. Her eyes seemed to be glossed over by lust. However, after seemingly pondering for a moment, she reluctantly tore her gaze away and wore her huge glasses back.
With her scarlet eyes now covered by huge glasses, Satella's face immediately blushed. "E-eh, brother. I'm sorry!" She jumped out from his thigh as if her butt caught on fire. Like a timid rabbit, she took a seat on the farthest spot on the bench and no longer dared to look at Austin, just holding her burning cheeks.
Austin could only sigh at the contrasting scene.
He didn't remember when it exactly started, but somehow, his sister seemed to possess a split personality. When she wore her eyeglasses, she behaved normally—shy and demure. However, when she took off her eyeglasses, her whole personality underwent a drastic 180-degree change.
She became bold, dominant, flirty, etc. It was almost as if she was possessed by a succubus.
The first time he saw this new side of her, he got abruptly driven by uncontrollable lust and ended up kissing her and making out with her.
Being hot-blooded and unable to control his desires, he entered into a secret relationship with her in no time.
It was only when he was about to graduate from high school that he realized their relationship was very wrong. At that time, he didn't believe he could stop himself from taking a final step if Satella offered herself.
So, with great difficulty, he chose Alves as his college. The farther, the better. He believed distance was what they needed to clear their heads.
However, he was hugely mistaken. Now that he saw her again, it seemed the fire within his heart had unknowingly reignited around her.
