And as I prepared to embark on this new chapter of my life, her unwavering support gave me the strength to face whatever may come my way.
With new-found energy and a heavy heart, I set out on a path that I had never dreamed of. I didn't even have an idea what was going on or how I was going to handle the new step.
"Mom, forgive me. I know I am hiding something very important but I can't bring myself to reveal it to you. I know what I am doing would hurt you like hell and it might break you down. However, at this moment, I have no other choice. I am sorry and I hope you will forgive me for this," I thought to myself.
"When are you planning to leave here?" I snapped out of my reverie with my mother's voice, disrupting my thought process.
"I don't know; everything happened so quickly and I decided to leave the country just a while ago. I never expected that this day would come to plan everything." I answered.
