Chapter 23 - The Emerald fire short sword

After receiving the blessing he quickly connects the blessing to the ancient forest.

He then analyses the sword he picked up.

Emerald Fire Short Sword

Fire blade

Discription:

The user covers their sword in fire and earth elements, causing the blade to become a two handed heavy broad sword. This lasts for one hour and can only be used once a week.

He quickly equips it with joy, excited to see what other peices of the set he can get.

He checks his stats and distributes his stat points.

Discription: summon a shield that is made out of pure metal elements. It can withstand a meteor strike. Using pure Earth elements the shield is covered in spikes dealing Soul damage based on the users Soul stat

Discription: once per 18 hours for 3.5 hours all the users stats are timesed by 2.25.

Discription: heals 1.5% of the targets HP every minute for 1 hour

Rock Wrecker

Discription: earth element energy gets absorbed into the users feet and hands increasing their Strength stat by 0.06% for every minute it's active but reduces the users Speed stat by the same amount

Soul Hardening

Discription: doubles the users Soul stat. Passive blessing (always active)

Discription:

Increases the users allies Defence stat by 75 points for 1 hour once per day

Poison Bullet

Discription: the user can shoot darts of poison at a target the poison reduces the targets defence stat by 550 points and reduces the targets stamina by 175 points.

Discription: the user has a 1% chance to get a special drop or to get double the drops.

Discription: the user increases their speed stat by 600 points for 1 hour once per day.

Forest Guardian

Class: element (earth)

Discription: leaves and vines cover the user as ethereal roots and hard vines cover the user like heavy armour. This last for 1 hour and uses stored earth elements to cast. The effects are random depending on the soul quantity of the forest the user is bound to.

Curse: the user is bound to a forest of choice, if the user uses a fire blessing in or around the that Forest the user will die. The user also reduces their healing abilities while the blessing is activated.

Secret Fire Spine Ability

Discription: the user can only use this ability once per week. The user once activated looses all defensive capabilities but all of their offensive Blessings and stats and speed stat get a two times boost. This ability lasts till the user takes a hit or two hours pass.

Discription: the user is 3 times larger than normal but has 2.5 times the strength and HP (rounded to the nearest 25)

Discription: using the energy from the earth the user can increase a targets Strength and Defence by 200 points and the user has resistance to earth element blessings.

Description: the user forms a dense wind force in front of them and flings it towards an opponent in a slashing motion. This deals wind element damage and reduces the targets speed by 25 (not stackable)

Discription: the user can break any blessing below power level 10 that effects a targets mind or understanding of reality.

Ace and his team use a Warp Stone to leave the dungeon and they head straight for the swamp of death.

Upon arriving they head into the dungeon and ace summons Melanie.

"Let's fly" Ace exclaims

They jump on Melanie and they fly northwards hoping to find something interesting, but seeing mostly mud and the occasional dead tree.

"I came in here months ago but it was just to find two monsters, turns out they both hide under the mud and their sight is pretty bad so we are safer flying than walking. "

They keep flying till they reach a giant castle made out of wood and vines.

"Ding… a stronghold has been found. Adventures be careful. This stronghold is a power level 8 one" both Ace and Avery hear.

They quickly land. "Melanie stay in the air and provide support from the sky" Ace says.

They head towards the open courtyard where 2 death knights stand holding jagged blades that are emitting a dark smoke that smells of death and rot.

"Winfred why can I see their stats or blessings?" Ace exclames

"Golems you can see till you identify the creator of them sadly" Winfred calmly states.

Nervously Ace draws his new sword and equips his meteor shield "Avery get on Melanie and stay in the sky!" Ace yells.

Avery jumps on Melanie and they head up in the sky. As this happens Winfred gets summoned, suddenly a giant towering figure of dark sturdy red toned wood and colourful vibrant flowers appear just outside the courtyard walls.

The two death knights look at Ace and charge at him with speed as Ace ducks under one sword strike heading towards his gut and blocks one using his shield, spikes of rock breaking and reforming as the sword hits the metal and some rock spikes jabbing into the knight a clang of metal and rock hitting each other can be heard as a shockwave rattles the bones of the death knights.

Suddenly a blast of wind send the death knight standing above Ace flying into a wall as Melanie strikes him with a wind strike. A few huge vines form a sphere around the other knight.

Ace gets up and rushes over to the other knight as it is trying to get up, it's black/gray robes flowing as it brushes of the dust.

Ace quickly launches foward sending slamming into the wall again with a strike of Ace's shield. Using his sword he slashes a deep slash into the death knights bones. Causing the bones to collapse into a pile with a clatter. It's robes and sword disappearing into dust.

The other death knight still struggling against the vines finally dies as it's crumbled body falls out of the releasing vines.

"Their defences where not that good, although they had decent Soul. I think the thing controlling these is a mage user of some kind." Winfred exclaims

"They where pretty easy so I should be fine to go in, you three stay out here!" Ace exclaims

Ace walks inside the stronghold, the inside is hollow with just a few pillars holding it up, around the edges are skeletal statues holding items and weapons emitting an aura of death.

At the end sits a human looking figure upon a wooden throne emitting a purple hue of light.

"Well look what the mud brought in, you made it in in supprisingly good health. I am Numa the Black, wizard of death. You will die on the very stone your standing on!" The wizard exclaims.

Ace prepares his shield and prepares his sword. "No you will die!" Ace yells as he charges straight for him.

Suddenly a blast of energy sends Ace into a pillar, looking at where it came from he sees a skeleton holding a staff emitting a green light. Using his aura he determines these golems have no combat power but can activate items. The item just used was a earth energy staff (it can condense earth elements a fire it as a ball of energy)

Ace looks around to see all the other skeletons readying their items of various elements, colours and styles.

Ace quickly activates Forest Guardian and Stat Boost as a spear of ice shatters against his shield and a blade of wind leaving a deep slash against his left arm. As the earth energy covers his body and the ethereal vines and wood condense, he feels his defensive stats rise by nearly three times and his speed increases by nearly double.

"Jeez, how is this a power level 1 blessing!"

He activates Rock Wrecker and sonic speed and launches at the wizard dodging and blocking the skeletons attacks using a unique style he learnt from the martial art book written by the martial dragon.
