Where am I?
Zheng Lin woke up and opened his eyes, but what greeted him was darkness.
There was no sound of his other friends chit-chatting but the sound of footsteps being made by the horses every time they moved forward, which puzzled him.
He tried to look around and blinked his eyes several times, however the darkness remained unchanged.
Am I being blindfolded? Are we playing some sort of game now? At the very moment that I just woke up? Or is this some kind of stupid prank...
"HEY, whoever is pulling this childish prank, remove this blindfold from my eyes immediately or I will tell Uncle Xuan Rong." He shouted madly.
"Shut your mouth kid, if you don't wanna die." The man replied annoyingly.
The next words that Zheng Lin was about to say didn't come out as he heard the unfamiliar cold voice coming from his left side.
This voice for unknown reason struck panic into him, just like a slap to the face telling him that this was not some sort of prank pulled by one of those younger kids in the orphanage.
Who in the world could this guy be? He doesn't sound like Uncle Xuan Rong or any of the kind caretakers...
Are we being taken to the school that Uncle mentioned? But why do we need to be blindfolded?
Besides his voice sounds so evil... Is it because he is in a bad mood? Or is it because we're just strangers for now, that's why he is speaking like this?
Then Zheng Lin moved his hand up and tried to grab the blindfold blocking his sight off from his face, but no matter how hard he tried to pull it, it just wouldn't come off as though the blindfold was glued to his face.
Realizing that there was something wrong with this blindfold, he stopped trying and just sat there calmly.
He felt sore all over his entire body from just resting on this wooden crafted thingy.
I wanna go home... I missed my softy bed so much...
The kids that rested beside him, one by one were awakened by the sound of him shouting.
"WHERE AM I?" The fat kid shouted anxiously after waking up.
"I will say it one more time, if you don't wanna die then stop shouting." The man's voice sounded out again.
He Chin covered his mouth with his hand while his entire body trembled crazily.
No one had noticed this as everyone in the carriage had their eyes blindfolded.
"Where do you think we are being taken to?" Pan Kun said quietly.
"Maybe... we are being taken to the so-called school that Uncle mentioned?" The unsure Zheng Lin whispered.
"Are you a fool? Why would they blindfold us if they're taking us to the school?" Pan Kun raised her voice slightly.
"And do you think that a teacher or someone who worked at the school will sound like that?"
The man who was driving the carriage heard this and grinned 'Damn right, there is no way I sounded like those pathetic warriors.' and goes back to whipping the horse.
He paid no attention to their discussion as long as it didn't disturb him since it was not his job to discipline them, and who knew whether or not they could become stronger than him in the future, so better be cautious.
Besides killing them wouldn't be ideal since in this mission, the more people they brought to the organization the merrier the rewards but that depended on their talent too.
And two of these kids in his carriage seemed to possess good talents, so there was no reason for him or any of his companions to become their enemies and even if they were not talented, the organization could use them for other things.
So it was wiser for them to just turn a blind eye to these kinds of things that were not out of line.

Zheng Lin sat there quietly as he couldn't find any words to retort to this because deep down he knew that this was the truth, the facts wouldn't change no matter how much he tried to deny it.
The atmosphere inside the carriage turned to silence as they stopped discussing to process what they were going through.
Suddenly the fatty who couldn't hold himself back anymore burst out crying.
"Waah, waah.... I wanna go home..."
"Shut up He Chin, do you want to get us killed together with you?" Pan Kun said in terror as she quickly covered his mouth.
Zheng Lin eyes behind the blindfold were widely opened as he quivered in fear.
Are we going to die? Damn fatty!
I can't die yet... at least not before I find out the truth behind this matter.
The sound of their heart beating filled inside the carriage, making the situation even more fearful.
"This will be your final warning, fatty..."
"Annoy me again and you will lose the opportunity to become stronger."
Become stronger? What does he mean by that?
So we are indeed not going to the so-called school that Uncle mentioned.
But it seems like he doesn't care as long as we don't annoy him.
Zheng Lin who already had his back soaked in sweat sighed in relief as he didn't get killed by this fatty childishness, he wished he could beat up this fatty til his face became unrecognizable right now to vent out his fear.
He thought he was going to die, either by getting killed or by his heart exploding judging by how fast and loud his heart was beating mainly because of He Chin.
Unknowingly, He Chin had pissed his pant and the yellow liquid slowly moved from his side toward the clueless Zheng Lin who had calmed himself down.
Does the man really dare to kill us?
Whether or not it's just a threat, I will not be the first person to test that...
Wait what is this smell... what is this liquid that is touching my clothes...
