The Andromeda Galaxy is the closest super-large-scale galaxy to the Milky Way, about twice the size of the Milky Way.
When human astronomy was just beginning to develop, this massive galaxy sparked endless curiosity among humans.
Firstly, it is very similar to the Milky Way in shape, both displaying a spindle form, and secondly, it is a very beautiful galaxy, brightly visible in the autumn night sky, sparking humanity's most beautiful fantasies about the universe.
The entire Andromeda Galaxy contains roughly a trillion stars, which includes many aging stars gradually heading towards destruction, and newly born stars just beginning to show signs of life. But speaking of mature stars in their prime, there are many more in Andromeda than in the Milky Way.
In the very center of the Andromeda Galaxy, which is also the brightest point, it is known as the Andromeda Nebula, the brightest and most prosperous place in the whole Andromeda Galaxy.
Two main cores within the nebula have been observed by humans, one of them has a supermassive black hole at its center, and the other is where civilization was born in Andromeda.
In the central galaxy of one of the cores in the Andromeda Nebula, there are the three main civilizations of this galaxy, one of which is the well-known Symbiont civilization.
Their official name in the interstellar civilization is "Klinter", which in their own racial language means "the oldest thing". The civilization is led by the Cosmic Special Agents and the Cosmic Agent Council, and there are currently 13 registered members.
Among the other two civilizations, one inhabits the Ruin Galaxy, two galaxies away from the Klinter Star. It's called the Ruin Galaxy because, about 700 million years ago, an advanced civilization here was consumed by the shock of galaxy evolution, leaving only ruins. The remaining descendants of this advanced civilization and the new civilizations have formed a united civilization, also known as the "Andromeda Union Civilization".
Because this race is composed of sentient beings at different time periods, its members are quite diverse, ranging from High Elves that are relatively similar to humans, to Insect Race that look like aliens, and an ancient magic race, the Spirit of Totem, and so on.
The reason for giving special emphasis to this civilization is that they are the primary parasitic hosts of the Klinta Symbionts.
Due to the complex structure of teh united civilization, they don't have a strong sense of racial unity or resistance to foreign enemies. On the contrary, they welcome parasitic within the symbionts.
They believe that these miraculous creatures can make up for the deficiencies of their race. For this reason, the Andromeda Union Civilization is actually a part of Klinter Civilization; about 60% of organisms here have been parasitized by symbionts at some point, and many of the leaders and kings of several races have intricate connections with the Cosmic Special Agents.
The third civilization, however, is not so friendly. They are known as the Sulfur Dwarfs. Perhaps due to some special disturbances, most of the Dwarf races in the galaxy are good at alchemy and forging.
But symbionts most hate fire and sound waves, so their relationship with the Sulfur Dwarfs is very bad, and it can even be said to be mortal enemies. However, since these three civilizations are relatively far apart from each other, they can only temporarily maintain the stability of the core of the Andromeda Nebula.
Nevertheless, minor frictions are constant. The latest conflict arose when a person dressed in a black and red uniform ran into the Star Port of Andromeda, tossing feces at the Sulfur Dwarf's spaceship and its crew members.
Because they need to guard against symbionts, the Sulfur Dwarfs long ago created a device to detect parasitic species in living organisms. They detected the symbiont parasitized in that strange person's body, so they classified this incident as a provocation from the Cosmic Special Agents against the Dwarf civilization.
The royal family of the Sulfur Dwarfs held a round of voting, and although war didn't eventually break out, this incident caused quite a stir within Dwarf society, with a majority of the populace believing that they should teach those wretched ones a good lesson.
The civilization of the Sulfur Dwarfs is quite advanced. They can be considered one of the few civilizations in the cosmos that have an independent industrial system. Without the help of any outside forces, they have reached the level of interstellar roaming. The Union Civilization and the Symbiote Civilization are very close, but even if they joined forces, they could barely withstand the Sulphur Dwarfs.
"The current situation is just like this. Our relationship with the dwarfs is getting worse, and perhaps before too long, we will go to war. But before that, we must resolve the major trouble within our own planet."
"So when Riot was ordered by Nal to come to Earth in search of new symbionts, almost all Cosmic Special Agents were mobilized. Myself, Green Sting, Blue Spirit, Red Bee, Phantom, and others are among the most powerful in the Cosmic Special Agents, so we took a spaceship and came to the edge of the Nine Major Kingdoms."
"Of course, we first went to Asgard for a visit, and after obtaining the agreement of Odin, the ruler of the Nine Major Kingdoms, we entered your territory."
"We intended to come together, but then the Cosmic Special Agents assessed the human civilization on Earth and found that you are still far from the level of interstellar civilization. If we fly our spaceship directly over your planet, it might cause panic."
"So, we parked our spaceship at the edge of the Nine Major Kingdoms, and then let Phantom, who moves the fastest, go to Earth alone to chase Riot."
In the reception room of S.H.I.E.L.D., Thunder, who possesses six arms and a serpentine lower body, sighs and continues, "Initially, everything was going smoothly, but then many mysterious beings suddenly appeared around here. We thought war was about to break out, so we had to hide our spaceship within a crevice in space... "
"Who could have predicted that an energy from an unknown source would suddenly explode, not only causing the crevice where we were hiding to collapse but also damaging our spaceship? Consequently, we could not fly back to our galaxy and had to stay here."
"Originally, although the engine of the spaceship was somewhat damaged, as long as we gathered enough materials to repair it, everything would be fine. But perfect plan was ruined out of nowhere. Just a few days ago, an unknown dark energy hit our spaceship head-on. We didn't even have time to turn on the shield..."
"Originally, we wanted to force a landing in Asgard, but who knew that Odin would not respond to our landing request, that we dare not barge in, so we had to fly to a more desolate and remote place of the Nine Major Kingdoms."
The larger green symbiote called Green Sting said, "In fact, before we landed, we sent you many signals, but none of you responded. So we had to activate the scanner using our last energy, targeting the most desolate places on Earth..."
"So you landed in New Mexico?"
"Exactly, there were a few other places to choose from, but by then the spaceship's energy had completely depleted, so we had to choose the one closest and luckily we didn't hit anyone."
Nick looked at these symbiotes in front of him. Their appearance can't be said to be friendly, only green-face and fanged.
The yellow symbiote that identified itself as Thunder, the upper half of its body looked like an alien, while its lower half resembled a snake. The Green Sting, completely covered in thorns, Red Bee, and Blue Spirit all were similar in appearance. Looking at the lot of them, Nick even believed that Venom, who called himself the symbiote, turned out pleasant to the eyes...
Blue Spirit seemed to discern Nick's expression. It spoke in an androgynous tone. "Oh, I know. For a standard human, we might look a bit scary. Our current hosts are from the Andromeda Union civilization. In their aesthetic criterion, the more ferocious your appearance, the stronger it implies you are..."
"Okay, I can understand. From the standpoint of humans, I appreciate that you didn't crash land in the city center, but what's your plan for now? Your spaceship seems irreparable."
A few multi-coloured symbiotes let out a collective sigh. Thunder said, "We did not anticipate this kind of thing happening at all. So before leaving Andromeda, we didn't choose a host for a species that has the power to teleport. We probably won't be able to return until we get a new spaceship."
"Also, Phantom told us that she went a very long way. It will probably take some time for her to come back. We have to wait for her here," he added.
Blue Spirit shrugged and said, "Actually, it doesn't matter to us symbiotes. We don't have a concept of kinship or family. But the objects we're living inside have been away from their homeland for too long, and they have family and friends waiting for them."
Nick sighed and looked at Strange. Strange turned his head to Shiller standing close by. Shiller said to them, "How about this, you parasitize on humans, and we'll contact people on Asgard's side to send these people from the Andromeda Galaxy back. Meanwhile, you can wait here for Phantom."
The symbiotes looked at each other. Thunder was the first to speak, "If it's like that, it couldn't be better. Nevertheless, our genetic archives indicate that humans seem to have a strong aversion to parasitism."
"But you can guarantee that you won't forcibly control the host's body and will not endanger the host's safety, right?"
"Of course, we are cosmic special agents; I want to stress again that we are not lunatics like Venom. We have a full set of parasitic procedures and tens of thousands of interaction guidelines for cooperating with the host. We are the most professional team among the symbiotes, not some Venice symbiote..."
"Alright, we will discuss it, and find some suitable hosts for you. Please wait here..."
After Nick, Strange and Shiller came out, Nick said to Shiller while looking back: "It must be you again! Red Bee, Blue Spirit, Green Sting and Thunder, which correspond to Spider-Man, Shadow, Crystal and Amplifier respectively, how did you convince Professor X to cooperate with you?"
"It's called collaboration." Shiller caught up with Nick and said, "The interstellar war is imminent. If mutants want to participate, they need to have the ability to battle in the cosmic arena."
"Some of the powerful mutants in the group were held back on Earth due to certain things. Even if they have powerful strength, they don't understand enough about the cosmos and don't have enough experience."
"However, I have provided some of them with enhancements using the Cosmic Agent symbiotes. This way they can take part in this event and contribute."
"It's like this, I opened an amusement park. Disabled people cannot participate in most projects because of physical defects. So they choose to stay at home and lock their doors. How are we going to make money from their admission tickets?"
"As long as I cure his legs, he will choose to spend money to enter the park and consume goods within. Even if we can't recover the treatment cost from the amusement park, I can open a whole commercial street afterwards. There will always be a day when it'll pay back..."
Nick pondered for a moment, saying, "This is also beneficial for Professor X and can even be considered a windfall."
"Everyone knows that the mutants are receding. Since the last generation of adults left the academy, the newly recruited mutants are not strong enough and grow very slowly. It's hard to reach the glory of the previous generation. Professor X can't wait for an opportunity to strengthen."
"Sugar-coated cannonball?" Strange clucked and said.
"It can't be considered as a sugar-coated cannonball." Shiller laughed, "It can only be considered as a little frosting on top of a sugar coating."
