Chapter 3319 - Chapter 2462: The Bizarre Ancient Bat Family (Part Four)

When you have three teenagers and a bunch of strangely shaped objects in a yard at the same time, you can't expect there won't be any accidents.

Alfred had just adjusted the stove and wanted to heat some bread when he realized he had left the bread in the dining room and hadn't fetched it, so he turned and walked towards the adjacent building to get the ingredients.

After Alfred left, the three Robins, who had been diligently working, suddenly stopped what they were doing as if they had telegraphed each other, and sneakily approached the Bat Tyrant Dragon sleeping under the tree.

The Robin from the Prime Universe was no longer a child, Nightwing had become an agent, Red Hood had long grown into a 200-pound strong man, and even Red Robin was considered very strong among his peers.

When these three guys pounced on the Bat Tyrant Dragon together, even a grown Mechanical Tyrannosaurus Rex jumped up from the ground with a roar.

Nightwing grabbed the Bat Tyrant Dragon's neck, Red Hood tightly grasped its back, and Red Robin wrapped his arms around the thick tail of the Bat Tyrant Dragon. The Bat Tyrant Dragon shook its head and tail but just couldn't shake off the three pesky things on its body.

Damian stood a little further away, and seeing the three enjoying themselves, he couldn't help but dash towards them. But the Bat Tyrant Dragon at least had the camaraderie of having fought alongside those Batmen, and the Batmonster Vehicle was the first to rush out, stopping abruptly with a sideways drift right in front of Damian.

"Ha, don't think you can stop me," Damian said, pointing at the big tree, and a miniature grappling hook device on his arm launched a hook. With a whoosh, he swung towards it.

Just as he retracted the grappling device and was about to land on the Bat Tyrant Dragon with a perfect parabolic arc, a flash of gold light appeared in the sky, and Lightning Batman stretched out an arm, causing Damian to bump into it with a thud.

This fall was unexpected, as Little Bruce was sitting on a bench, deeply engrossed in a book. Now that the power of the Evil God weighed heavily on his mind, he needed to urgently read about the so-called maternal pollution and figure it out faster than any insurance investigator, or else he risked getting his door kicked in someday.

Although he hadn't helped Alfred with the work, he was arguably the quietest and most self-sufficient person in the entire garden, when suddenly Damian fell from the sky.

Little Bruce and Damian inherently disliked each other. On one hand, it was because they were close in age and boys of that age naturally wanted to grab the attention of others to secure their own standing. With limited attention from others, neither wished for the other to be the focus but rather themselves.

Little Bruce and Damian both had rather self-centered personalities. Little Bruce was already quite temperamental for certain reasons, and Damian was even more hot-tempered. Whenever they met, it was like lightning striking tinder. They didn't dare fight with Batman on the way there, but now, Little Bruce was not about to indulge Damian.

With a slap, a tentacle smacked Damian from the sky down to the ground, burying him so deep in the cobblestones that he almost couldn't be pulled out. It was God of War Batman, wearing a helmet, who finally pulled him out.

God of War Batman was relatively normal, as besides being initially deceived by the helmet, once the corruption inside was cleared, he had fully recovered to a normal state. Apart from constantly daydreaming about Diana, he was considered the most normal amongst this group of Batmen.

Therefore, he was entrusted by Batman with an important task—to keep an eye on Mechanical Batman and Green Lantern Batman, the two Batmen who were problematic and not very settled. Although Mechanical Batman had his pain and fear deleted, he still experienced joy, so he followed Alfred to the storeroom for ingredients.

Green Lantern Batman, on the other hand, was nowhere near as settled. As soon as he returned to this universe, he discovered he could reconnect with the Emotional Spectrum, meaning he could finally recharge his Lantern ring.

As the saying goes, although the Lantern ring was back to normal, since Green Lantern Batman's personality had been twisted for too long, his morals and abilities were completely distorted, and even without the corruption, he was hardly Batman at all.

And sure enough, he didn't have the careful consideration and thoughtfulness of Batman. As soon as he found out that in this universe he could summon the Lantern Furnace, he took advantage of the short absence of the Prime Universe's Batman to call the Lantern Furnace to the Earth's skies.

Green Lantern Batman was too eager and only focused on summoning the Lantern Furnace down, forgetting about the whole yard full of Batmen. A bright light came from the horizon, arriving quickly, and with a raise of his hand, the Green Lantern Ring suddenly lit up.

But at this exact moment, Damian fell. God of War Batman saw the boy fall and without thinking much went over to help, ending up right between Green Lantern Batman and the Lantern Furnace.

Bang!!!!

The furnace hit the back of God of War Batman's head solidly, almost breaking open the helmet. God of War Batman didn't have time to protect himself with divine power and fell stiffly to the ground.

Just as he tried to get up, the Bat Tyrant Dragon came charging over trying to rid itself of the three Robins on its back.

The Tyrannosaurus Rex, because of its size, had a blind spot just below its head, so it didn't see God of War Batman lying on the ground and tripped over him with a powerful lift of its foot.

Boom!!!!

And so Batman, Thomas, and Martha saw a mountain-like Tyrannosaurus Rex lying stiffly in their yard, with the three Robins, Damian, and a crowd of others, all topsy-turvy.

They both turned their heads simultaneously to look at Batman in the middle.

"This isn't a collectible from my Batcave." Batman immediately denied any relation, saying, "He is conscious, a Batman from another universe."

Thomas was so exasperated he laughed, "Are you trying to have us believe there just happens to be a universe where Batman is a Tyrannosaurus Rex, and you just happened to bring him here, and he just happened to be lying here for some reason, just happened to knock everyone down..."

Batman knew further explanations were useless because as soon as the Bat Tyrant Dragon saw Thomas and Martha, it would explain what was going on by itself.

So he took the lead and pushed the door open, walking behind Bat Tyrant Dragon and tapping it, saying, "Get up, Thomas and Martha are here, don't you plan to welcome them?"

Right at that moment, the Bat Tyrant Dragon went offline.

Although they still did not know why, at the moment the consciousness of Batman stored inside the mechanical Tyrannosaurus Rex could not come out, so this mechanical Tyrannosaurus Rex just really became an ordinary mechanical Tyrannosaurus Rex, just like the collectibles placed in the Batcave.

Thomas and Martha, of course, noticed this, and Martha covered her forehead saying, "Bruce, if you dare leave your collectibles scattered around again..."

Then both of them suddenly noticed more and more figures converging toward them, most of them quite strange, looking almost but not quite human, yet they all shared one characteristic in common, that being a resemblance to Batman, either with pointed ears or with a bat emblem.

Most importantly, they were emanating an excited sadness, their expressions touched, brimming with tears.

Actually, the first to make Thomas and Martha recognize them was the unmasked Lightning Batman because his appearance was almost identical to the Prime Universe's Batman.

"Oh my God, Bruce," Martha went over and pressed her hands on Lightning Batman's forearms, saying, "What happened to you? Why do you look so... tired, as if you haven't slept for days and nights."

They had organized thousands of words in their minds before seeing Thomas and Martha, but in the end, Lightning Batman didn't say anything and just silently hugged Martha.

"You... you are..." Thomas then noticed the likewise unmasked Batwoman, a gender-swapped Batman, who had a softer female version of Bruce Wayne's features, resembling Aisha grown up.

"I'm Bryce... Dad, long time no see."

The other Batmen were about to applaud her for her strong organizational skills and the courage to speak.

"Oh, my," Thomas was even more flustered than Batwoman, saying, "You are a Batman from another universe, I mean, a female Batman from another universe, in that universe, you are our daughter?"

Thomas nervously stamped his foot saying, "Which means we have a bunch of sons, now a daughter too, God, you wouldn't believe how many times I went to church before your mother gave birth, praying to God to bless us with a little princess."

Martha immediately turned around and looked back at Batwoman.

Batman actually resembled Thomas more, after all, they were both men, shared common male facial features and naturally looked more alike, but because Batwoman was a woman, her features were softer, her feminine traits more distinct, making Martha's features more pronounced on her face.

Martha immediately rushed over and hugged Batwoman saying, "My God, we have a daughter, and she's already so grown up, Thomas, do you see? Our little Sylvia..."

"Her name is Bryce, Martha..."

Martha wiped away her tears and said, "Oh, sorry, at the time we discussed that if it was a girl, we would name her Sylvia..."

The name reminded Batwoman of Silvius, who was her deceased lover; Silvius and Sylvia were like Bruce and Bryce, corresponding male and female names.

And quite coincidentally, all four names meant "forest."

"Your father and I first met in a forest," Martha and Thomas sat by the table in the garden gazebo, watching the Robins carry the huge Bat Tyrant Dragon away for repairs, with Martha stroking her temples, "We were both so young back then, making love never seemed enough, just like every young couple."

"We got married quickly; it wasn't exactly a completely free love, but I think we both had a strong desire to rush toward each other, and then that fiery love quickly turned into a strong familial bond, and we began to talk about responsibility and the future."

"But even among those heavier topics, we were always able to find the lightest and most joyous things from the old days, like when we decided, if we were to raise a child someday, we would commemorate the place where we first met by naming it 'forest'."
