"So who is the other director?" Shiller asked again.
"The young man named Dick." Beihan continued to stride forward, stepping over the high and low shrubbery, and said, "He is probably the horror murderer of this day."
"Do you remember the rules set by the host before? Each killer has a special ability. We previously interpreted this special ability as them being very strong or having combat skills, but maybe we should think more fantastically."
"Since the host can bring so many superheroes over to play the game, he is obviously not a being who views things through human eyes. His imagination must also break the limits of ordinary humans, so the abilities the killers possess are more like magic."
Beihan took a deep breath, then speculated, "I was the third one to board. I was only ahead of you. Deduce from the seating, Dick was the first one on the bus, but no one ever saw how he got on."
"What's even more wrong to me is that Batman didn't choose to sit with Dick in the same row, that's the last row. This is very strange, because if it were me, I would definitely choose the last row. It's the best strategic position and you can overlook the whole bus."
"From that time on, I had a vague feeling that something was strange in my heart, but I couldn't tell where the strangeness was, until you personally mentioned your relationship with Dick."
Beihan turned to look at another himself. He looked at Batman and said, "You said Dick is your adopted son, even though he is from another universe. You seem to be a bit too indifferent."
"As far as I know, Batman is so indifferent." Shiller retorted.
"Completely different." Beihan shook his head and said, "We must pay attention to where our attention is put. Sometimes, even though I don't respond on the surface, I still give attention. But he obviously doesn't care about his adopted son from another universe."
"Our relationship is not good." Batman simply said, "At least during a certain period of time we had some contradictions. The reasons are not strong enough."
"I didn't take this as key evidence, it's just a component element of strange intuition."
After denying it, Beihan continued, "When I saw that footprint, indeed there was a moment when I believed it to be true. Or perhaps the footprint was real, just left behind after a murderer with imitation ability transformed into a monster."
"But after leaving the hunter's cabin, I realized that the footprint might be intended to confuse us, someone wanted us to think that there was a very strong horror murderer here."
"But this precisely corroborates that the murderer of today is not a very strong monster, otherwise he would not have to use this method, I dare say that such a monster of that size could have caused us a lot of trouble if it rushed out the moment we got there."
"If the murderer chooses a more roundabout method, it indicates that his attack power may not be very strong and his physique is quite average. But the host is unlikely to put such a weak opposition against us, especially knowing there are two Batmans here, so the only possibility is that this murderer is extremely good at ambushes."
"But for Batman, such an ambush hiding somewhere is also not threatening enough, so there's only one way left, and that is to play psychological warfare."
Shiller showed an interested expression, looking at Beihan and said, "Let's hear the details."
Beihan extended a finger and pointed at his temples, turning his head back and said, "The strongest psychological warfare in this world is the stereotype of preconceptions. Everyone here has participated in at least one round of the game. Each time, when they arrive at the game location, they find other teammates are already waiting there."
"Then at this time, the second person to get on the car discovers that there is already a person sitting in the car who looks like a superhero, so it's easy to think that he is also a teammate. This is a stereotype that is hard to break and it is also the biggest advantage of this murderer."
"And you figured it out earlier than I did." Beihan turned to look at Shiller and said, "Can you tell me your thought process?"
"I'm afraid you wouldn't want to hear it."
"I'll know when you say it."
Shiller sighed, in front of him flashed the three different expressions he saw in the car the moment he got on. Just in that second, he affirmed, Nightwing is fake.
This is not because he has any mind-reading ability – the biggest proof is that now there are two Batmans sitting in the car, two living ones, from different universes, but both are very Batman-like Batmans.
But Nightwing isn't the least bit excited.
Dick is actually not a particularly lively child. Shiller also knew this. Often times, he could even be described as quiet, but he is also a member of the Batman Family.
As everyone knows, the top fan club of Batman is the Arkham Fan Club. The second fan club is the Batman Family Fan Club. Or maybe the two are just different in style of competing for the top spot, and there is no real distinction between them, the sleeping dragon and the rising phoenix, have an inexplicable fanatic love for Batman that ordinary people can't understand.
Dick really really likes and admires Batman, even though Batman of Shiller's universe hasn't really been Batman, Dick still likes him, or basically just likes bats.
