Chapter 2731 - Chapter 1929: U: Surpassing Major Event (18)_2

Shiller knew that Dick had filled an entire cabinet in his room at Wayne Manor with Batman memorabilia, and he had even managed to keep Jason and Tim from stealing any of it - it was clear just how much he was obsessed.

Now, he sat in the car with two living Batmen who were interacting with each other. Meanwhile, the first Robin managed to casually enjoy the scenery outside the window - if that wasn't fake then nothing was.

Shiller also deliberately brought up his relationship with Batman, many times leading the conversation to Beihan. Despite pretending to listen, Dick's attention was clearly elsewhere, proving he wasn't a member of the Batman Family or the Arkham Fan Club.

Shiller laid out his thoughts. Beihan slightly widened his eyes, glancing at Batman with a somewhat strange look. Yet, Batman remained unmoved and continued his stride unaffected.

Beihan could only scratch his chin, shake his head, and then asked, "But this is just speculation, isn't it? How did you actually expose him?"

Shiller turned his gaze to Natasha.

Natasha shrugged her shoulders, beginning her explanation.

As a matter of fact, when Natasha realized that she and Shiller would share a car, she changed her strategy. Unable to hide her alliance with her teammates, she had to take a different approach in digging up information about others.

When everyone assumes you and another person are allies, gathering intelligence becomes hard, as they suspect you might reveal their secrets to the other person. Even if you try to get close to them, they would question why you're not spending time with your teammate instead.

But Natasha, being an experienced agent, knew what to do in such a scenario.

Sex is the most powerful natural attraction between a man and a woman. Actually, saying something straightforward like "I want to sleep with you" is the most flawless approach in such cases.

Especially when it comes to someone like Batman, who is aware of his attractiveness and adept at using his charm. He would most likely play along to extract information in return, which Batman did indeed do.

As for how Natasha, without having met Batman, could judge him to be this kind of person, only shows that there are few men in this world that the Black Widow cannot see through.

Originally, Natasha had successfully sent a signal, and Batman responded without a hint of emotion. As for how Batman responded, again, there are very few messages that Batman cannot convey through his gaze.

Actually, they were both just using each other, taking advantage of certain ambiguous situations to extract information from one another. It was well-understood between them, their aim was simply to see who held the upper hand.

But everything changed when the host announced the rules.

Upon hearing the word "Killer devil", Natasha and Batman exchanged a glance, eye contact confirming they'd both been duped.

The two immediately shifted from deceiving each other with manipulative emotions to forming an unbreakable alliance, stronger than a golden bond.

The reason was quite simple. They would all be weakened by Shiller's absence.

When Shiller claimed he and Dick would stay and defend the camp together, the two quickly exchanged glances, then swiftly escorted the third wheel away.

Actually, both of them had detected something wrong about Dick. Batman understood his Robin too well, and was familiar with the fanatical nature of Batman Family members. Therefore, he could perceive something was off about the silent Nightwing.

As for Natasha, or rather the Black Widow, she was an expert when it came to understanding male targets. Yet, she saw a layer of fog around Dick, who was normally easy to read.

So, the two sneaked off to the other side of the camp, not to do anything weird, but to see how Shiller planned to expose the fake.

The method Shiller used was infuriatingly simple.

There were no verbal confrontations, no psychological tests. Shiller picked up two roughly similar thick tree branches and handed them to Dick. Dick took them and directly threw them in the woodpile nearby.

Alright, it's decided, this Dick is definitely a fake.

No Nightwing would ever get two short sticks similar to his weapon and not twirl them a little, but instead directly toss them away, no.

Shiller immediately moved into action.

Just as he was dragging Nightwing back by his neck, he saw Natasha peeking out from the gap in the bushes. Shiller loosened his grip, and Nightwing fled.

The good news was that Shiller lost interest, the bad news was that the Black Widow was now excited.

Then Batman realized, when she said she's a female agent, she wasn't just a female agent; she was prepared.

Indeed, those who can mix with Shiller really are all peas in a pod.

Black Widow directly picked up a sharp branch and started hunting Dick in the woods, this was her most familiar hunting method, and also the one that excited her the most.

But this murderous charlatan, who has the ability to disguise, doesn't have much offensive capability. Even though his physical abilities weren't weakened, he was no match for an excited Natasha.

The mistake he made was transforming into a handsome young man, and with firm muscles and a firm butt. That's exactly what the Black Widow liked.

After Natasha knocked the murderous devil Dick down, she directly lodged the branch into his eye socket. The Killer devil Dick did shriek, but unfortunately, everyone who was present knew his true face. Other than making Natasha even more excited, it was practically useless.

The female agent rode on the murderous devil Dick, continuously stabbing his body with the tree branch, and this poor Killer devil had a durable life force. The agent had to stab him nearly two hundred times before he finally died, which gave her immense satisfaction.

However, in the ecstasy of the moment, she didn't pay attention and blood was splattered onto her clothes, so she had to wash them in the creek while Shiller took care of the dead body of the murderous devil.

Because the rules mentioned there were ten Killer devils, so there is a high probability of one for each day. Even if not so, Shiller was not worried, he hadn't had his fun yet.

So Shiller dragged Dick's body, searched through the woods, found his base where there was a wood chipper. Shiller threw the body into it, laid a piece of plastic sheet at the outlet, and packed up the minced body.

Of course, he didn't forget to take animal traps, tripwire and shotgun from the tool room, created an illusion that the Killer devil had gone out to set traps.

Then he returned to the spot where Dick was killed and started to scatter body parts. The main reason for doing this was to create a big scene in order to cover up the blood stains left after Natasha killed Dick that could have easily revealed the cause of death. As expected, Beihan did not investigate further.

While the two Batmans were searching the house, the yell, gunshot, and gunshot wounds were all staged. The main reason was that the three of them had a bet on when Beihan, who was kept in the dark, would finally figure out what's going on.

Shiller bet it would be the next morning, so he certainly did his part to delay as much as he could. Batman didn't plan to stop him, self-directing and acting as the Killer devil is much better than actually becoming a Killer devil out of boredom.

"However, you won this game." Shiller shrugged and looked at Beihan.

Beihan turned to look at him, smiled and said, "Yes, of course I won."

"If it weren't for me suggesting that I go hunting for food and proposing the trap plan for the Killer devil, I'm afraid you would find an excuse to break away from the team, pretend to be abducted by the Killer devil and disappeared, and then really attack the camp at night as a pretense right?"

And then Batman sighed gently.

When the bus stopped in front of them, Beihan looked doubtfully at Batman getting on the bus, Natasha, who was the last to get in, patted his shoulder as she passed him and left a message.

"No, he wasn't pretending."
