Chapter 202 - Chapter 128 R: Great Bat Incident (Part 10)_2

"Deacon, your arrogance shocks me. It is these so-called weak creatures that battled your elite troops on the bridge for a whole day and night!"

"Why can't you accept it? It's far from being thousands of years ago. Do you still think humans are monkeys fighting each other with sticks and stones?"

"They haven't changed a bit!" Deacon's voice was filled with contempt. "They just replaced their sticks and stones with guns. This race has an inherent inferiority; they are only capable of constant infighting. They have no comprehension of unity; their weapons are only aimed at each other!"

"Through years of networking, I've bought off many human politicians. These people have no boundaries, not even loyalty to their own race. As long as they stand with us, we can destabilize the human condition. When the night comes, we will have taken over the entire Brooklyn Area."

"This is the most populous district in New York, meaning my subordinates and I will have endless food supplies; our power will peak."

"Stop dreaming." The cold voice of the woman responded, "Haven't you noticed? Humans are beginning to unite. Do you know why?"

"They say that we possess a factor that can prolong their short life spans. For the sake of living longer, this ephemeral race will stop at nothing! You don't even realize the severity of the problem!"

The female voice seemed to lose her patience, she said: "I am here on behalf of the Elder Faction to warn you for the last time. If your lunacy brings our entire race to destruction, you'll also be our enemy."

"You ambitionless, weak creatures!" Deacon snapped. "We could've ruled this world! Made all humans our slaves! Why would you choose to just hide away? To conceal yourselves!"

"We indeed want to control human society, but for our better enjoyment. Only they can create such a prosperous society, all we need to do is manipulate them from the shadows."

"And you, you imbecile, only thinking of war! You're about to ruin our planning! Are you aware that your stupid prophecy severely interferes with the Elder's next step planning?"

"We originally planned to unite for the next general election and influence the election results. For this, we've rallied many people, not only professors from several universities on the East Coast, but also many medical workers under the leadership of the Elders Council Hospital doctors and Wall Street financiers!"

"With this power, even if we cannot determine who the president will be, we can at least control a state parliament!"

"Brooklyn Area's Hell's Kitchen was planned as our headquarters, and Elder Sebastian has already deployed considerable forces there. We will control human society from the top down and bottom up. Regardless of whether you win or lose, the Elder Council will not spare you due to your foolish plan which resulted in many prematurely being exposed!"

"Infiltration plan! It's just an excuse for you to indulge yourselves." Deacon's voice grew angrier and angrier. "A few hundred years ago, how splendid our race was!"

"We could captivate humans fearlessly on the streets; we dined wherever we wanted!"

"But ever since you appeasers negotiated with the humans, we had to hide. The cowards among you even agreed to accept non-fresh refrigerated blood. I can't take it anymore!"

"The final showdown is tonight, I will win! You have no idea how powerful the Bat God is!"

"Seems like you've gone mad. Are you seriously expecting the Bat God from your mythologies to come to your aid?"

"Heh." Deacon scoffed. "Do you think I would insist on launching this war against the majority of the Clan, without a solid assurance?"

The firmness in his voice made the female vampire hesitate. She responded, "I advise you not to have any delusions. Earth is not a place where anyone can wreak havoc. You haven't lived as long as the elders; they once warned me to always remain vigilant of all alien beliefs..."

"Their weak words will be etched on their tombstones." Finally, Deacon said.

"Are you really certain that the power of the Bat God will descend?"

"More than that. The Bat God will send his mightiest guardian to personally come here and help me, at the moment when the moonlight is at its thickest tonight. Moreover, those foolish humans don't realize it does not require rituals for the Bat God's Guardian's arrival. Their security is in vain!"

"We will share this world together with Him!"

Peter eavesdropping outside the door was drenched in sweat. He grabbed Pikachu and ran upstairs then swiftly left the bar. The Blade Warrior quickly dealt with the few vampires who had surrounded him. Seeing Peter running out, he asked, "What happened? Have you already dealt with them?"

Peter looked into the Blade Warrior's eyes, and asked, "What else do you know about the Bat God?"

"What's the matter?" Seeing Peter's distressed face, the Blade Warrior asked.
