Chapter 1916 - Chapter 1294: Interstellar Grand Stage (Part 1)_2

"But I also see, Stark Group's technicians bustling about on multiple circuits, maintaining shuttle equipment, collecting experimental data, constantly perfecting the planning of the routes. The aerial trains carry more and more cargo each day, new bridges and harbors bring new glory to families."

"Faced with these utterly different situations, I don't have the genius and inspiration to present a perfect solution that would satisfy everyone. The only thing I can do is suffer, and Venom does too – my actions cause him pain."

"Eddie, you haven't realized that you're a genius too." Shiller started slowly, his voice sounded somewhat unreal to Eddie. He heard his psychiatrist say, "Your pain and conflict present your innate spirituality. You're a natural philosopher, a psychologist, and possess talents in these areas."

"Venom feels pain, not because he feels the pain when you denied him something, but precisely because you've given him the inherent gloom of philosophy, your pessimistic conflicts make him feel the pain."

"But there's no meaning in that." Eddie shook his head with eyes closed, licked his somewhat dry lips and replied, "Look at it, Peter Parker gave benevolence and resilience to Venom, Tony Stark gave brilliant wisdom to Venom, these are all weaponry making him stronger and more perfect. What use do these conflicts and philosophy have?"

Shiller responded somewhat helplessly to Eddie: "It seems clear that you can't now objectively view the relationship between you and Venom; both of you need to cool down and reflect on how you each affect the other."

Shiller turned the page of the document he held and said, "I'll contact Blue Spirit and others who are currently stationed on Klinter Star. In a sense, they too are Venom's guardians. You should discuss this issue with these more experienced cosmic symbiotes."

"I won't talk to them." Venom's deep voice burst out from Eddie's mouth, it sounded almost like a gunshot. He stated: "Those idiots would simply advise me to submit to the host and treat it as work, but I've never wanted to do that."

"But in reality, it's a job." Shiller still kept his calm tone: "The bond between a symbiote and its host should be viewed in a more rational context, excessive possessiveness will torture both of you."

"Ha, of course you can say that!" Venom's voice was filled with anger: "You have hundreds of you in your soul, each day someone is accompanying your symbiote, but I only want Eddie to understand me better, he's the only one I have!"

"However, this mental exchange between both of you only brings pain." Shiller shook his head, clearly disapproving. He stated: "No one is trying to separate you two, but the current way how you two connect and communicate seems problematic."

"You are constantly moving forward, constantly pouring out emotions, trying to make Eddie listen to you through your blatant and rough means. Eddie retreats out of fear but doesn't want to hurt you at the same time. He feels ashamed due to your rudeness, believing that he's corrupted you."

"This is who I already am!" Venom shouted loudly: "I am nothing but a wicked symbiote who wants to eat human brain, I will always be this way!"

Shiller sighed, he thought Eddie was correct, Venom always acted like a child, but it wasn't his fault.

It's akin to Venom he's akin to a solitary individual with autism within the race of cosmic symbiotes. In some respects, he possesses an unmatched, incredibly powerful talent. But the price of that is stagnation in certain aspects, he's forever stuck at a standstill.

He's absorbed vast amounts of energy, his symbiote factors are healthy and thriving, and has inherited the wisdom of Peter Bruce and Stark. Even those few colored symbiotes tied together aren't necessarily his match.

But precisely within the realm of emotions, Venom is always incapable of obtaining a good grasp of the scale, whether it's managing his emotions or accepting and understanding the emotions of others.

But these requirements are pretty high after all. Humans who are emotionally rich might not master this skill in their lifetime, so it's only natural that Venom, who's like a blank slate, can't handle emotions properly.

He engulfs emotions excessively, endlessly demanding attention, acknowledgment, and love from Eddie, like a child who's always crying and fussing. But when it comes to expressing his emotions, he seems like someone who's unnecessarily accusing others and pouring out his thoughts mindlessly because of his abundant emotions and inability to express them properly.

However, Eddie and Shiller are a kind of people, their thinking is more philosophical rather than rational calculations. Pessimism is the label attached to every born philosopher. This flood of emotions from Venom is causing much pain to Eddie, as they both are inseparable, giving Eddie no chance to escape or take a breather.

Staring at a string of conclusions on the report files makes Shiller feel somewhat helpless. His expressions about Eddie are very subtle. In fact, the assessment reports given by the professionals at Arkham Sanatorium are pessimistic.

A long-term unhealthy mental state may induce mental disorders and harm the body. Shiller is a psychiatrist, so he must resolve this problem.

Shiller opened his mouth to give some advice to Venom and Eddie, probably about them constructing an independent space for each other in their hearts with the help of psychology. But at that moment, Venom cut him short, saying:

"Fine, you say he's in pain because of this, I get it now, his pain is all my fault, alright?"

"As his good buddy - oh, that's what he thinks - I should act like his friend who shows up when needed and disappears when not needed. It's pretty obvious he doesn't need me right now, I'll leave immediately, and I absolutely won't bother him anymore!"

Once he finished, Eddie got up. Shiller stood up as well. Quickly walking in front of Eddie, Shiller turned sideways to block his path and said: "Calm down, Venom, don't be like this. This problem isn't that difficult to resolve, as long as you listen to professional advice..."

"Step aside." With a swish, innumerable black symbiotic particles wrapped around Eddie's body. Venom's face appeared, he exposed his fangs to Shiller and warned: "Don't bring you and Gray Mist's way of doing things into our matters. This is our business, step aside."

"Leave him alone, Shiller." Gray Mist's voice echoed in his mind: "Come read a book on the roof. I want to finish calculus today, then we can understand it together. You can understand it now."

"I'm coming."

As he responded to Gray Mist, Shiller watched as Venom leapt onto the rooftop of the New York Skyline Building. Suddenly he had a bad feeling as Venom changed direction towards the Stark Building.

Inside the Stark Building, Stark wasn't the only one present.

Watching Venom's silhouette, Shiller murmers under his breath.

"Wish him luck, perhaps, he can also help me figure out what the hell those two geniuses are trying to do."
