Chapter 1610 - Chapter 1079 Father and Son (Eight)_2

Mobius gulped, leaned in towards B15, and said, "... How did Iron Man get his hands on it? Loki is of the God Clan, isn't that a ... it's not an accident, is it?"

As if Mobius suddenly saw something, he stared at Helen's chest and said, "Now, I can confirm, she really is Iron Man's daughter."

However, he then raised his tone and said, "But why, why would she inherit the reactor? Can this thing be inherited??!!"

It was only when Loki took off the thick cloak from Helen that B15 saw a glowing reactor on Helen's chest. It was unmistakably related to the one on Iron Man's chest, proving the saying, like father like daughter.

She tapped her forehead with her magic wand, slightly annoyed, saying, "This is irrelevant, the issue at hand is, Loki's daughter is not a time criminal, but due to certain special reasons, Loki couldn't leave her behind, and neither could I, therefore, I brought her here..."

Mobius seemed to quickly grasp the meaning of his colleague, his expression darkened, and he dropped his gaze, saying, "You should know, what type of person Ravona is, everyone that comes to the Time Management Bureau is a time criminal, regardless of their age…."

"Because I know, that's why I want to ask you..."

Just as B15 was saying this, the grand doors suddenly opened and a strange machine within started to make a noise. Mobius turned pale and said to B15, "The trial is about to begin, we're out of time!"

B15 pursed her lips, turned her head to look at the innocent and adorable Helen, squeezed her magic wand, but then, she waved it and said, "Criminal Loki, get changed and prepare for the trial..."

As soon as the words fell, Helen jumped back into Loki's arms, refusing to let go. Mobius also went up and tugged a few times, but his thin arms and legs weren't enough to pull her away. As a result, he could only watch as the mother and daughter walked into the changing room together.

"This is an isolated space." Helen immediately said, "There are no devices capable of transmitting images and sound, nor any eavesdropping magic. If you have anything to say, you better say it quickly."

"What do I have to say?" Loki straightened her somewhat tangled hair, saying, "Arrest, trial, and jail time, alright, although I don't know where this Justice Messenger came from, if I don't have to go back to Asgard, then I might as well stay in jail here."

Helen stared at her in disbelief, saying, "You're not planning on giving up on yourself, are you? Mom?!"

"I'm not your mother." Loki denied immediately, "Don't suck up to me, you little rascal who's identical to Tony Stark."

But unexpectedly, Helen reached out with her hands, grabbed Loki's cheeks, and said, "Wake up! Mom! Haven't you noticed, there might be a big secret hidden here? Didn't you see, their magic wands can neutralize the divine power of Asgard? That's great stuff!"

Loki stood in place, straightened her clothes, then said, "Among those I've tricked, who doesn't have secrets? From high-class interstellar civilizations to uncivilized indigenous inhabitants of planets, every victim says they will judge me, make me pay the price, but aren't I still fine?"

This so-called Time Management Bureau is the same. Maybe it's a victim who has found some existence behind them, wanting to teach me a lesson. Then let them come, I want to see how long they can keep me."

Loki looked away, but Helen kept staring at her with bright eyes and made a mature worried face, mismatching her young age, and said softly, "Oh no, my mom's gone crazy."

"Yes, I'm crazy, in your eyes, Asgard should be a nice place, with a grandmother who loves you, a goddess sister who plays around with you, guards and officials who respect you, countless delicious foods and toys," Loki said, looking at Helen in her arms.

"You wish you could stay there forever, and many extraterrestrials who came to Asgard think the same. Therefore, they couldn't comprehend why someone would rather stay in prison than go home, especially considering I am a noble prince…"

Just as Helen was about to say something, the noise from the machine at the center of the changing room attracted her attention. Her eyes darted and she jumped onto the machine directly from Loki's arms.

"What are you doing? Come back!" instinctively shouted Loki.

But Helen had already jumped behind the machine, stretching out her hand. She grabbed the connection between the machine and the wall, then began to tinker with it until she dismantled the back cover of the machine.

By the time Loki dashed to the backside of the machine, Helen already had two parts dismantled. Loki gasped, saying, "Helen Stark! What are you doing? You're going to break it!"

"I just want to study its structure." Helen responded coolly. She pushed up non-existent glasses on her face and pointed to the circuitry inside the machine, saying, "It's a very amazing structure, simplistic and primitive, but exceptionally effective. What kind of energy is it using? Why can it operate smoothly in what looks like steam-powered pipelines?"

Pressing her forehead, Loki stated, "Is now really the time to study this? Isn't this a dressing room? Where are the clothes? We need to hurry up and change; there's a trial soon…"

Them looking around in an attempt to find the wardrobe was interrupted when a small hand extended from behind the machine, handing her a part and saying: "Here, your clothes... but you have to wait for me to put it back together before the clothes can be produced…"

"Come out right now!" Loki yelled in exasperation. She swept her long hair back and quickly walked over, hugging Helen's waist, trying to pull her out, shouting as she did, "Don't disgrace Asgard! Unlike you humans, Asgardian royalty – we have manners, we should be polite, we can't just destroy things!"

"I'm not destroying anything!" Helen protested while continuing her work. Realizing she wasn't going to budge, Loki resigned, walked to Helen's other side, peeking at her through the gap from behind the machine.

Loki observed that Helen looked serious, not like she was playing around. She was reminded of Tony Stark, though they didn't look alike at all.

When Helen looked up again, she saw a hint of admiration in Loki's eyes.

Helen slowly halted her actions as their eyes met. Loki was the first to avert her gaze.

Just then, they heard a voice from outside the dressing room door"It's taking too long to start the second process! Is the machine broken? Or can it not recognize the two of them?"

Loki's face adopted a panicky expression. She lowered her voice and said, scouring over the parts strewn on the floor, "Quick, quick, quick! Put them back!"

"There's no time!" Helen said calmly. "But it's okay, I have a plan…"

Then under the shocked gaze of Loki, Helen slowly opened her mouth. Her human child-like square teeth receded, replaced by horrifying sharp fangs.

Before Loki could react, Helen's mouth produced a terrifying forked tongue at least two meters long, sweeping all the parts on the ground into her stomach.

"Is there something wrong in there?" Mobius questioned, pointing at the door, "Open the door and have a look."

Upon B15 pressing a button, the door opened to reveal Loki, holding Helen.

Mother and daughter sported matching friendly smiles. Loki pointed back to the machine in the room saying,

"The machine didn't respond; it's probably broken."
