Chen Ming yawned as he walked outside the elevator, scrolling the news feed on his phone. He pushed open the glass door as he pulled on his bag, exhaling a deep breath. He walked down the street on the footpath, and his eyes were stuck to the feeds.

Nothing new. All of his college mates were either entrepreneurs or married beautiful women, close enough to a model. Damn lucky they were!

His unfocused gaze remained on the feed as he finally shut off his social media platform.

Boring, boring, and boring.

Ever since a child, he had been alone. No friends whatsoever. Sure, he had a few classmates with whom he would walk and sit, but that was it. After stepping outside the circle of the college days, none of them ever became close enough to be called as friends.

It wasn't like he was desperate for one in the first place. He was happy living alone.

He would wake up early, do some yoga, practice his dance (a rare art he learned for god knows what reason as a child), pack his bag, bathe, and finally rush out for his job. After finishing his hours at work, he would return as usual, prepare some food while watching some news, talk to his parents who still lived in the village, and with whom, he rarely talked these days...

Why should he talk when all they wanted was to fix him a blind date? Please, he wasn't interested in anyone. He was quite happy with his boring lonely life. Being an introvert, he was quite satisfied with this kind of arrangement, and involvement of another person as of now would only create trouble for him.

Thus, he avoided even his parents. Since he rarely went to the bar, he didn't even have a date. Thus, being twenty-five years old, he was still a virgin. Heck, even his lips were virgin. No, even his hands were virgin!

You might think, what a sad life are you living? But Chen Ming wanted to ask all those people one by one, "Are you living my life or I am?"

He was an introvert thorough and thorough, and he didn't want anyone to be involved in his life whatsoever. Period!

As he was walking down the street, suddenly, a truck passing by lost its balance and diverted its track onto the footpath. Quick with his reflexes because of his dancing talent, Chen Ming dodged back and fell to the ground on his butt, looking at the scene with widened eyes.

Because of the truck's diversion, it crushed a few people, killing them on the spot. Several passersby rushed over and surrounded them.

Everyone's eyes were stuck on the scene in front of them, being shocked at how something like this suddenly happened.

Finally, one of the construction workers noticed Chen Ming as his eyes widened, and he yelled, "Sir! Careful!!!!!"

"Huh?" Chen Ming looked over in confusion, but before he could ask about it, the surface beneath him suddenly trembled. His eyes widened as he started to get up, and it seemed this action of his proved to be his greatest mistake.

The ground beneath him cracked and split apart, revealing the already hollow surface beneath.

Chen Ming fell into the pit.

"Ah!!!!!!!!!"

He continued falling.

Continued falling.

Continued….

Wait, why the hell was he still falling?!

Chen Ming's eyes widened as he looked down. The pit that he had originally fallen into was supposed to be only a few meters wide. That's what he had seen in a hurry. A few meters shouldn't be so long as to make him fall even after a few seconds had passed with no ground beneath for him to land!

Gosh, what was happening?!

"AHHHHHH!!!!!!" This time, his scream took a completely high pitch, making even him feel horrified by the way he sounded.

But he cared little about it.

He was going to die!!!

No, he still hadn't even held hands with a girl! Please, let him live an hour longer, and let him at least touch a woman!

Unshed tears appeared in the corner of his eyes as he kept falling.

Wait, how many minutes passed? Everything around him was dark, as he looked at the wristwatch on his hand. Unsurprisingly, the watch had long stopped working as if it couldn't work anymore in the realm he was falling into.

Chen Ming cursed under his breath as he stretched his hands as if trying to find some kind of support, but nothing. He continued falling.

"Someone!!!!!!" He yelled with his hoarse voice, "Help me!!!"

"Hmm? Who are you?" A childish voice spoke up all of a sudden, utterly confused. "Did someone send you into the pit?"

"Who are you?!" Chen Ming realized he shouldn't ask this question just yet as he took a deep breath and yelled back, "Help me!"

"Sure, but you have got to pay the price."

Being an introvert, Chen Ming had a habit of taking a pause before making any kind of decision. But right now, his priorities were straight.

He wanted to save himself.

Thus, he nodded frantically, "Yes, yes, and yes! Save me!"

"Okay." The child chuckled and said, "Whatever. I thought I won't have a user until next thousand years because of my punishment. Aiya, it seems gods are finally answering my calls! Wait a moment, young man. Be prepared for a rough landing!"

Wait, rough landing?

Before Chen Ming could reach it, his entire body was forcibly stopped as it was sucked literally by a vacuum beneath the ground. Yes, sucked as if there was a black hole down his legs.

Chen Ming's consciousness instantly flew away the moment his body was sucked, sending him into a dreamless sleep.
