Chapter 3 - Chapter 3 :- Tangled Memories 2

Upon reaching the medicine room, Alexander swiftly laid Aisha on a nearby table. He quickly located the supplies he needed, his hands moving with practiced precision.

Tenderly, he cleaned the wound on her palm, his touch both gentle and firm. His eyes never left her, silently reassuring her with his presence.

Alexander could not help but show his concern as he carefully bandaged her injured hand. "Aisha, you have to be more careful," he said softly, his voice laced with worry. "You shouldn't resort to hurting yourself like this."

Aisha's eyes gleamed with appreciation as her lips formed a delicate smile. "I know, Alexander," she replied, her voice filled with a mix of amusement and genuine warmth. "But it's just a momentary release for me. I promise I'll try not to do it again. And I appreciate your concern for me."

Alexander sighed, feeling a wave of both relief and caution pass through him. He reached out to gently stroke her cheek, his touch as light as a feather.

I could not understand what had gotten into me, why my heart was hurting for her, and why fear was still making my heart race.

On study when Alexander smelled the scent of blood, He turned his gaze towards Aisha, his eyes widening in concern. His breath caught as he noticed the crimson drops trickling down from her palm.

The Mafia Organisation acknowledged Alexander Salvatore as the King of Slaughter after he massacred thousands of people in his capacity as a Mafia Lord.

Alexander was a cold-blooded killer who did not think twice about taking a life when he founded his organization and killed anyone who stood in his way with brutality.

But today, all that made him tremble was the blood of a girl who held no significance in his life, the girl before him was merely a plaything that fascinated Alexander.

Unlike other people he had met, Aisha dared to approach Alexander.

Alexander thought the girl was different and he wanted her, the reason for that was his sexual drive.

He could not have found a better woman than Aisha, with her lovely face and figure. Which is why he brought Aisha from the shantytown. If she had not satisfied Alexander, he would have killed her or severely tortured her before discarding her.

He didn't like Aisha and Aisha didn't like him, it was a mutual relationship. The only thing Alexander wanted from her was pleasure, he never cared about her well-being and Aisha was smart enough to figure that out.

However, he finds it difficult to comprehend why he is feeling so anxious and worried about her; his hands became cold for no apparent reason other than that a little girl had barely cut her hand.

What is this weird sensation in my chest and why am I experiencing it?

Why am I so afraid of her getting hurt and sick, I've never felt this before.

"Alexander" Aisha called his name, her voice soft and melodious. "You okay, Alexander," she asked, her voice filled with concern.

"Yes, I'm fine, just a bit worried about you," he replied, trying to keep his voice calm and steady.

Knock!

After this Alexander and Aisha turned to face the room's entrance upon hearing the unexpected knock on the door.

The door swung open, revealing a stunning maid with long flowing blonde hair and piercing blue eyes that seemed to sparkle with mischief.

Haa, Linda, by all the servants, it has to be you, a smirk appeared on Aisha's lips, but her brown eyes grew cold.

Linda's blue eyes widened slightly as she noticed Aisha's penetrating gaze. She felt a chill run down her spine, Ignoring Aisha's cold glare she looked at Alexander.

The maid, oblivious to the tension in the air, broke the silence. "Breakfast is served on the table, sir," she announced with a hint of sweetness in her voice. Aisha's eyes flickered with anger but she held her composure.

Alexander gave Linda a simple nod, and then his gaze momentarily returned to Aisha, as if he couldn't take his eyes away from her.

Unbeknownst to him, Aisha's grip tightened on her bandaged fist. Memories flooded back from her past life, where this very maid had been her tormentor. The scars, both physical and emotional, were still fresh in her memory. A surge of anger coursed through her veins, fueling her, driven by her secret and unrequited love for Alexander.

With a clenched jaw, Aisha mustered all her strength to remain composed. She would not allow the past to dictate the present. Determination surged through her as she squared her shoulders and met Linda's gaze with a steely resolve.

Her voice remained steady, though a slight undertone of hostility crept in. "Understood you may go now," she replied curtly, her words laced with a deliberate hint of disdain.

Aisha's unexpected behavior startled Linda because she had assumed that Aisha would be a weak opponent and her master also had told her Aisha was weak and foolish. However, the girl in front of her appeared to be neither weak nor foolish.

When Linda ignores Aisha she makes it obvious that she does not recognize Aisha as her master, but Aisha doesn't acknowledge the fact instead she orders Linda like her master

Aisha grins at Linda's obvious expression, understanding exactly what Linda is thinking.

Alexander, still entranced by Aisha, hardly acknowledged the maid's presence.

Aisha smiled and said softly, "Husband, shall we go to the breakfast table, and then we will talk after breakfast?"

With a nod Alexander took her hand gently, leading her towards the elegantly appointed dining area. The dining table was ornamented with beautiful floral centerpieces, adding to the overall opulent atmosphere.

As they approached the table, Aisha noticed the elaborate breakfast spread that had been meticulously prepared. The maid had gone to great lengths to ensure that everything was picture-perfect – platters of freshly baked pastries, a selection of seasonal fruits, and a variety of steaming hot beverages.

But Aisha's thoughts were elsewhere. She couldn't shake the memories of the maids cruel actions towards her in her previous life, besides Linda few other maids torment her enormously.

However, because Alexander is present with her in this life, they appear to be friendly.

Sitting down at the table, Alexander pulled out a chair for Aisha and motioned for her to sit. Although Linda remained nearby, her presence seemed to fade into the presence of servants

Aisha kept her focus on Alexander with a smile, but her senses remained acutely aware of everyone's move. The clink of cutlery and the gentle rustle of silk fabric filled the air as the couple savored their breakfast in silence.

She would not let the past dictate her future, she needs Alexander and his help to survive. She will confront Linda and her master if she needs to, and she will put an end to those people who harmed her once.

But for the time being, she kept a faint smile on her face to hide her true feelings, determined to enjoy the lovely breakfast with Alexander by her side.
