"I hope you're up to something good with that smirk, Neil. I don't want to end up dead in my own car because that's the look you have when you're planning something sinister," Liam slurred from the backseat, noticing Neil's calculating smile in the rearview mirror. Neil rarely smiled like that unless he was plotting a secretive plan of murdering someone. Liam just wanted to go home and sleep after consuming several bottles, but Neil was insistent on involving him in some task in his condo.
"If you don't sober up before we reach my condo, I might just have to do away with you," Neil responded casually as he pulled into the underground parking lot of his apartment. Exiting the car simultaneously, Liam trailed behind him, grumbling curses for being dragged into work.
