Mia's frustration boiled over. "You had no right to do that! You also have no right to tell me who to accept things from!"
Ignoring her angry protests, Neil tossed the torn dress aside like it was trash. "You're better off without his charity," he remarked, his demeanor unyielding. "Now, show me the rest of the clothes."
Mia, clenching her fists to control her own anger, refused to budge. He had done enough in her room. Staring defiantly into his piercing gray eyes, she said, "Leave my room, Mr. Bennett. I won't tolerate your arrogance invading my space."
Neil's expression darkened dangerously. "Sending me out, huh?" he sneered. "I'm not leaving until you show me the rest of those damn clothes! Now bring them out!"
