After Mia's classes, she went to sit under the school's shed with Rayne, who was saying, "Last night I was worried about you when Owen called to ask if you were with me. Where did you go with Mr. Bennett yesterday anyway?"
"It's a long story I wouldn't want to talk about for now, Rayne." Mia replied as she played with the straw in her juice cup. She then changed the topic, "I was expecting to come to school to still find people hating on me but I was surprised to see them all minding their business. Did something happen yesterday when I was away?" She asked while curiously leaning towards her friend. She was aware of how the students in Ivy Grove never knew to mind their business when it came to something that has to do with the school's most popular girl, Diane Foster.
