Chapter 17 - Chapter 17- It's Time

Godwynn sat in his chambers, thinking back on the Twin flame ceremony. Amora had done well; He had honestly thought she would put up a fight or get too nervous to do the ceremony. But she was a well-trained princess, and today it showed. She had smiled at him, and even though he knew it was fake, it set his heart on fire…fuck!

He cannot allow her to get close to him, Dark Elves do not feel. He would not allow her to become a weakness. He would sentence her to the dungeons as soon as the consummation ceremony was over with, and she would rot there with her brother, kept just barely alive. Till he could figure out how to rid himself of her, without it killing him. Then he would end her and go back to being the Ruthless Ruler he was meant to be. He could even get an heir out of a Mistress, so that her High Elf blood wouldn't taint his lineage.

Godwynn had already rid himself of the ceremonial robes and had donned his black sleeping breeches and a black open faced bath coat which hung just to his knees. He patiently waited to be summoned. No doubt she had been informed on what was expected of her for a consummation ceremony by her mother, since she was previously betrothed. He smiled darkly knowing she would be a wonderous fumbling mess, like a helpless deer in the grasp of the mountain lion. He planned to devastate her. Mind. Body. And Soul.

He could hear the 'Ceremonial witnesses' making their way to his chambers to collect him for the Consummation. They would go to the Royal Chambers to perform the act. The witnessed would be the Council elders, and his father. He rolled his eyes at the thought; it was royal custom to witness the claiming of the Princesses or Queen. The only solace from the watchful eyes were the veils around the bed for a sense of privacy. Yet her innocence would be spread on the sheets for the Council Elders to inspect shortly after. Jealousy filled him…he didn't want anyone else near her while he claimed her….Shocked at his own revelation he realized the Binding Ceremony must already be influencing him and dismissed the sensation.

"Are you ready, sire?" A council member asked, knocking on his chamber door as he spoke.

"Yes, Godwynn spoke….Rising from his seat, He joined the entourage, and headed for the Royal Chambers. Which would soon be his chambers…and hers.

Shortly they arrived in the Royal Chambers. He moved to the foot of the bed and waited, standing at the top of the platform which the bed rested on, for her delivery. There were 13 men surrounding the chamber, chatting amongst themselves, eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Princess. His father being one of them. He rolled his eyes in disdain. They were all dressed in their council robes, his father dressed in his Royal attire. Everyone seemed pleased to be here, and he was growing more irritated by the minute.

As if on cue, the doors opened, and in filled Amora's entourage, with her ladies in waiting taking the lead. They would wait outside during the ceremony and would collect her afterwards. In came Arda followed by a doe eyed Amora. She looked him straight in the eyes, as if pleading for his help…his heart sank. Dammit.

Amora knew what was fixing to happen…her mother had pulled her aside and told her the humiliating details, when she was supposed to be wed to Torwynn. It had turned her stomach then. But she had plenty of time to build up her mental walls for it. But had let them down when she was abducted. In no way had she expected the Nyberian kingdom to follow the same customs.

Her heart was pounding. Hearing Godwynn tell her he was going to take her to bed, was the equivalent to having Cold Mountain water thrown on you as you slept. She felt herself trembling as she was stripped in her chambers and only given a silk robe to cover with. She wasn't even spared slippers for the cold floor. Her hair was left, piled high upon her head and she kept the diadem and the necklace.

"It's time." Arda announced.

"Wait no! Surely there is something else we need to do…do I not need to bathe?"

Arda looked at the girl, pity seemed to flash across her face before being replaced by an infallible mask. "No…we need to leave now, the Council and his highness is waiting."

The old woman motioned towards the door as the ladies began to leave in a singular line. Amora took another deep breath before following suit. She had till the end of the hall to get herself together. She swallowed hard as she fought back tears.

When they reached the Royal Bed Chambers the devastating scene before her, took the breath from her very chest. The room was filled with men. Their lustful eyes watching her closely. The dark king had an evil sneer plastered to his face. The room was lit with over a thousand candles…which made the scene so much more eerie. The Bed had a bright white sheet thrown over it. And in front of it stood Godwynn…he stared at her impassively. He was her only hope…and she couldn't help wanting to run to him a plead for him to help her…help she knew he wouldn't oblige.

Arda came up behind her and whispered in her ear…"You need to go to him…the sooner you do the quicker you can be done" Amora looked at the old woman and nodded…she was right.

Forcing herself to move, Amor approached the Dark Prince. His Scent immediately washing over her. For some reason she wanted to hide within his arms. Arms that would have killed her by now if they weren't bound together as one. She swallowed hard as she reached him. Unable to look at him. She stood facing him, but kept her head facing the floor…

He moved behind her and guided her to move behind the sheer curtains…towards the side of the massive bed. She jumped when she felt him pull the ties of her robes. Tears began falling from her eyes, as he removed the only layer of protection she had. "Go to the center of the bed."
