Kazou looked at Amy lying in bed with their baby. "I'm so sorry, I told you I'd be there for you whenever you needed me, but I couldn't." Kazou fell to his knees and began to cry, "I'm sorry I couldn't be there at a time like this, I'm sorry." Amy slowly approached Kazou and put her hands on his cheeks. "Look, I'm fine, our baby is safe, and I've survived thanks to your teachings." Amy leaned in towards Kazou's lips. Kazou immediately recoiled, "No, no, I can't do this." Amy approached again. Kazou recoiled once more, "Please, I don't deserve this kiss, I couldn't save you in such an important moment, I couldn't see Joel's true face."
Amy silenced Kazou with her finger, "Just kiss me, big guy, this is our happy day," she pointed to their baby, "our Kenshin is lying right there." She focused her gaze back into Kazou's eyes. "Now, just kiss." Amy pressed her lips to Kazou's. Kazou was hesitant, his mind filled with turmoil. The only thing he could do now was to surrender to Amy and enjoy the kiss. "That's it, big guy," Amy was strange, but she had started to act boldly with her baby. Amy lay back down next to her baby again. "Father, come join us," Kazou nodded and refreshed his thoughts. "Right away, sweetheart," it was an exhausting day for this family.
"Do you want to bring order?" Kazou was floating in a dark void. "Do you want to be Seiren's savior?" The voice spoke with a thick, overwhelming authority. Kazou tried to grasp where he was, but soon understood. This was the gate of the agreement. "I offered you choices, and you chose this," the voice began to scratch Kazou's ears. "You will be a savior, Kazou, but there are things you must deal with first, remember your true purpose was never them." Kazou clenched his teeth. He couldn't understand the logic of this meaningless fate.
When Kazou opened his eyes, he noticed Amy trying to knit something, their baby reaching out to her hand beside the pillow. "Good morning, Kazou," Kazou stood up, "Good morning, Amy, oh, you've started work early." Amy smiled, "There was nowhere to buy clothes for our child, this place is really harsh in that regard, so I have to add new ones to the ones I previously knit." Amy looked at her baby and smiled. Kazou knelt down next to their baby. He played with his face with his finger. The baby didn't react to his father's movements. He continued to reach out to his mother. "Ah, it seems you love your mother more than me... It's really hurtful to show it so clearly," he turned his face to Amy. "Can you see how a baby has broken my heart? Amy chuckled lightly. "Hahahaa, well, he just met you, he's been living with me in my stomach for months." Kazou looked back at his baby. "Yes, Kenshin, let's meet then, I'm Kazou, also known as your father, pleased to meet you." Kazou reached out his finger to Kenshin. Kenshin, this time, held his father's finger. "We finally agreed, little man."
"Haha, Kazou, I'm really lucky to be with you," Amy was incredibly happy. "I am too, Amy, I'm very lucky to have you," Amy smiled and continued to knit clothes for Kenshin.
"Would it be a problem if I left, Amy?" Amy suddenly stopped. "Wouldn't it be okay if you didn't leave today? Today is an important day, you know, we should be with our newborn." Kazou smiled, "Of course, I know, it's the big day we've both been eagerly waiting for. But this area, this city is still dangerous, especially after the Joel incident, I... I should stay with you, what if they find you, but if I go out and clean them up..." Kazou suddenly found himself between Amy's soft breasts. Amy had embraced him, "Please, calm down, you'll always be my hero." Kazou began to wet the wooden floor beneath him with tears. "Ah, haven't the roles changed, do you think?" Amy turned Kazou's face towards her. Tear-filled eyes made contact with those mesmerizing green eyes. It was comforting, it wiped away all the chaos inside. Amy was like an angel. Kazou placed his hands on Amy's cheeks. "How are you?" Amy smiled, "Let's say I learned from my mom and dad." "Ah, I see, they..." Kazou stood up. "Now, with your permission, there's a city I need to heal." Kazou kissed Amy on the forehead. Amy blushed and looked at Kazou with happiness. "Good luck, my hero, you'll completely cleanse this place of darkness one day." Kazou headed towards the door, and when he closed it, all his smile vanished.
"Yes, Kenshin, now your mom will knit you wonderful clothes." Amy returned to her knitting. Kenshin was still trying to reach his mother with his hands, but his undeveloped muscles didn't allow any movement. Amy felt great happiness from the fast bond she had established with her baby.
Amy had laid Kenshin in bed and started waiting for Kazou, but Kazou wasn't in the cabin as usual when he returned home. Amy began to worry, but what could she fear, there was no one here who could make Kazou submit to them. Deciding her worries were unfounded, she continued to wait, and finally, the door opened. Amy immediately stood up excitedly. There was Kazou, holding a gift box, wet from the rain. "I have a surprise for you, Amy," he had an innocent smile on his face. Amy had received the answer to all her worries. "Kazou, you're really perfect." Amy quickly jumped on Kazou. As Amy hugged him, Kazou looked at Kenshin sleeping in bed. He felt sorry for him, he was afraid of what he could do for him.
