"Ah, where am I?" Kazou didn't find himself in the dark this time. He was inside a dream. "Where is this place?" he began to look around. Many people were wandering around. When Kazou noticed them, they turned towards him, all smiling at him. Kazou was puzzled. What was happening? What kind of dream was this? "Thank you very much, Mr. Mac."
"Mac?" Kazou was even more confused. "Ah, Mr. Mac, I believe your mind is a bit scattered, but don't worry, I'll explain everything to you," the man touched Kazou's shoulder. Kazou flinched. This dream was very strange. "You did it, you finally destroyed all the darkness and gave us a wonderful life," the man's eyes were sparkling with joy. "This... I... don't understand," Kazou thought of Amy and Kenshin. He grabbed the man by his shoulders. "Amy, my child, where are they?" He had completely forgotten he was in a dream. Everything felt so real. The man's face took on a puzzled expression. "You live alone, Mr. Mac. You didn't tell us you had a child or a wife."
"Who is Mac then?"
"You, sir. You guided us here. You gave us a new life. You are our savior."
Kazou stepped back. "What's going on here?" He felt like he was losing his mind. "I have to go. Amy, Kenshin are waiting for me. I need to protect them." Before Kazou could turn around and run, the man caught him by the shoulder. "Sir, don't worry. I don't know who they are, but rest assured, everyone here is safe. No one needs protection here." Tears started to flow from Kazou's eyes. "W-what is all this nonsense?"
"Please, Mr. Mac, follow me so I can show you this wonderful place you've created to help you gather your thoughts," the man extended his hand to Kazou. Kazou had no idea where he was or where to look for Amy and Kenshin. Suppressing the sudden rush of emotions, he shook the man's hand. "Please show me around." The man nodded cheerfully. "As you wish."
"By the way, what's your name?"
The man slapped his own face. "Ah, so you've even forgotten me, Mr. Mac." The man turned around. "But I suppose that's quite normal. My name is Fe- lfuittu."
"What's happening?" Suddenly, everything around him started to shake. Everyone around Kazou turned into shadows and flew away. Kazou started to look around in fear. When he turned around, he saw Amy and a grown-up Kenshin. Kenshin was hiding behind his mother, while Amy, with teary eyes, hugged her son and looked at Kazou. "I'm sorry."
Kazou started to run towards them.
"AAHHGHH!" he was shot in the leg and fell to the ground. When he turned around to see who shot him, his eyes widened. "You..." Cedric was smiling at him. "The leader can't leave us."
"The leader?" What was happening? Kazou shouldn't be thinking about this. He had to reach where Amy and Kenshin were standing, but they were no longer there. "WHAT'S HAPPENING?" Kazou's heart filled with pain. He turned around to look at Cedric, but he too had vanished into the shadows.
Once again, everything was engulfed in darkness. "You're seeing the truth, Kazou... one day you'll accept it."
"AAAAA!" Kazou suddenly woke up and sat up. "Ah! Take it easy, Kazou." Amy had leaned in close to Kazou's face, examining him, and as Kazou woke up suddenly, he received a sharp blow to his forehead.
"Amy...AMY." Kazou cried and hugged Amy. "I'm so sorry. Please forgive me."
"Hey Kazou, that's a nice gesture but please don't squeeze me too hard. I- I can't breathe." Kazou immediately stopped and pulled back.
"Apologizing so nicely for what happened yesterday is very sweet." Amy placed her index finger on Kazou's forehead. "I forgive you, big guy." And she pushed Kazou back onto the bed. "Ah, it was just a dream." Kazou finally realized. It was all just a dream. "Hahahaa, I'm relieved."
"I'm glad you're happy, Kazou, but I didn't quite get the dream part. You yelling at me yesterday seemed very real." Kazou gathered himself and stood up. "I love you, Amy." He grabbed both of Amy's wrists. "Hey hey hey! Slow down, Kenshin is watching us." Kazou composed himself and pulled back. "I'm sorry, my love." Amy smiled. "It's okay. It's okay. By the way, I love you too." With this news, Kazou filled with hope and sat back at the table.
"Kazou, don't you think there's something you need to tell me? You've been acting very strange lately, and it's worrying me."
Suddenly, Kazou remembered everything that had happened. Cedric, the fruit, the voice, upsetting Amy, and getting angry with Kenshin. Everything was spinning in his head. "Ahh!" He brought his hand to his head. A sharp pain pierced his skull.
"What's wrong, Kazou?" Amy quickly came to Kazou's side and put her hands on his shoulders. "Is it your head? Are you okay?" Amy removed her hand from Kazou's forehead and began to rub it with her own hand. "Calm down, Kazou, you have an Amy here who can heal you." Amy started to stroke Kazou's hair with her other hand. It was comforting. Kazou's pain and tangled thoughts began to slowly fade away. Kazou placed his hand on top of Amy's hand. "Thank you, Amy, I'm so glad you're here." Amy smiled. "Of course, Kazou, I'll always be by your side." Kazou slowly got up. "What happened, Kazou?"
"I have things to take care of, Amy."
"But you haven't told me-"
Amy's voice was cut off as the door closed. Kazou felt strange. Amy was worried about him.
"I'm going to make you tell me everything, Cedric." Kazou was angry with himself again, like a child. He set out to find Cedric among the lost souls like him.
