Thunder roared in the sky after quick flashes of plasma hit the ground. Rain was pouring heavily down on the green land. The air was chilly, able to freeze a person lungs and turn their skin into ice. Bright dots of light loomed in the black and grey sky.
Before, about to ten minutes ago, an alliance was made. The boys made a team and as well as the girls with each team consisting of five each.
The match ups were. Efriet versus Transcendent Eden versus Aqua, Bo versus Gun, Kyo versus Llina and Gouyo versus Escrima.
"Really," said a deep voice drenched in anger hopelessness. "Why do have I and have to fight this girl?"
Efriet a was being tore apart every second.
Transcendent was pacing herself at lightning speed, cutting and slashing Efriet randomly. She was arrogant, as she should be. She was in a league of her own and possessed. the rarity of Divine.
She went on to slicing Efriet randomly, not caring if he figure out a pattern in her attacks or something. Even if Efriet did find the obvious pattern of her of attacks, he would be to slow to counter.
Efriet groaned in agony and frustrating,"Argh!"
What could he do in a situation like this?
Even though the attacks won't kill him or even fatal ones, his pride and obviously body was being hurt.
Each cut created a bright neon orange on Efriet's body. Instead of having bleeding muscles, he had an orange neon mist flowing out from the wounds in his body.
"Damn it," Efriet said. His voice showing signs of pain but his scard face said otherwise as it was calm and passive.
Efriet made a finger gun and a orange magic circle formed around it. The next second, if index finger was cut of but the magic circle was still active.
"Argh," he groaned
He lowered his severed finger and shot the ground with a powerful fireball. With this, smoke emerged and clouded the area in a mist of grey.
Transcendent, who've lost her target, immediately halted her fast dashing and slashes while scratching her head in confusion.
This should have been a clear fight. A clash between gas and plasma, fire and lightning, a dagger and a katana. And mostly, a dividing fact, Mystical versus Divine.
Who would win?
A bolt of flames dashed towards Transcendent who was caught slightly off her guard. Because of her sharp senses and reflects, she parried the attack with her katana that she wielded in her hands.
She began the scan the area with eyes, and trying hard to find her foe who was hidden in the grey clouds.
A soft voice with hint of malice said at whisper point, "Let's see how you like it close up."
The mist began to disappearing, revealing Efriet. He had an attack ready at his finger tip which he then fired.
It was a large, concentrated attack of flames. Transcendent tried to block the attack with her sword but it shattered and she was engulfed in flames.
Efriet body was glowing neon orange. His hair was floating upwards and was on fire as while as the sides of his eyes and jaw. His eyes were like a inferno that wouldn't burn out with it's orange color.
On the other side of the battlefield, Eden and Aqua were going at.
Aqua had the upper hand at the moment. as she had Eden in a floating bubble of water.
Aqua yawned out of boredom as she watched the other fight, "*Yawn* This is getting boring."
She shifted her eyes from the others battle and peered at Eden who swimming around in the bubble, slowly drowning.
His eyes were closed as he smashed his own head in with his own cold fist. Suddenly, an idea kicked in as a he opened his eyes and a light bulb was above his head.
A expression of stupidity appeared on his face as if he was staying, 'Am I a damn dunce?'
Which what he thought inwardly, "Am I a dunce?"
Suddenly, the water began to freeze and turn into ice. Aqua could no longer control the floating object because it shifted elements and properties.
The sphere ice dropped and shattered on impact as soon as it touched the ground. The shards of ice began to float in air and then charged at Aqua.
"Shit," she cursed.
With a calm wave of her hand, water appeared on brought down shards.
Suddenly, a rock hard yet cold object hit Aqua under the chin.
Eden shouted in anger, "You almost killed me, lady!"
He had upper cut her with his right fist. Eden began to follow up with a left hook but was quickly countered by his hand being engulfed in liquid that dragged his arm. His entire body then hit the ground.
"Ugh," Eden scoffed. "This is getting quite annoyi-"
He was then kicked in the face which hit squarely on the bone of his nose. Eden's body was flipped over and a bright neon cyan mist began to escape his nose.
He yelled, "Aaahhhh! You bitc-!"
Eden was engulfed in water again and was pushed forward.
Aqua's gaze alone was control enough to control the any type of liquid and turn it to any type of liquid.
The water turned into a ice cylinder and Eden slid out from the back. The cylinder of ice shattered on the ground which began to float at Eden command.
Eden got on his feet and said, "Ugh, damn my head is spinning in circles," while holding his head and wiping the mist from his nose.
The current rain drops that exited the cloud suddenly turnt to ice. Eden began to charged at Aqua with the shards of ice going towards her twice speed of Eden.
"Argh!" Aqua created a thick field of water which she waved randomly at the shards.
The ice shard, rapidly for sliced her skin releasing a dark blue neon mist. Despite this, her attention was drafted else where.
"Guess I wi-" Eden was then abruptly cut off as he began to cough. "Damn it! Why hot am I always being cut off?"
The rain of ice halted due to Eden's lack of concentration of his Mana.
"*Sigh* I am finally relieved," said Aqua
Edem who was struggling to even stand and was straining himself to say, ".. Wh-what t-the hell.. did y-ypu do to m.. me?"
" Simple," answered Aqua, "While you were shooting those icicles at me, I turned the rain water into poison that is easily able to contaminate anyone through touch, scent and taste."
Suddenly, the grass beneath Aqua evaporated and she was pressed on the ground. From above in a five meter radius, a heavy preas of heat pushed down on Aqua. Right how, she was like a dry fish on a summer day.
"Aaarrghh!" She groaned as she strained all her muscles to get up yet couldn't.
This was the obvious work of Efriet.
The next battle was between Bo and Gun.
Gun was shooting a endless barrage of arrows that were moving at the speed of bullets. She held an imaginary bow and arrow made of Mana in her hands.
Bo on the other hand was sitting quietly inside of a thick shield of wooden roots that erected form the ground. The roots were deflecting all the arrows while Bo was sleeping.
"Urrgh! Damnit! What are those branches made of?!" Gun inquired in confusion and was equally irritated.
"*Yawn*" Bo then yawned which showed pure laziness. "Rest time is over."
The shield of roots then engraved themselves back into the ground. Then a small kid that looked like Bo came running towards Gun with his short legs.
"..."
Gun paused her barrage of arrows.
She smiled and yelled, "Aaaaawwww! So cute!"
She laid down on the ground and began to tickle the kid as she swinged her legs back and forth.
"That is until I bury you," said Bo in his normal voice that was at average depth.
Gun then had a shock look on her face as she said, "Hell? Ahh!" and then covered her mouth because she just cursed.
Roots then began to come from the ground and grabbed on to her, pulling her towards the ground.
"Is this because I said a bad wor-?" She was then cut off.
The ground turned into mud and she was dragged under. The ground then turned solid once more.
"Bye, bye," said Bo in a child's voice.
The second to last battle was between Kyo and Llina. Yet battle was already over.
"Let me out, you mother fucker," Kyo yelled.
His teeth looked like they belonged to a shark and his punching a metallic domain that enclosed him, which meant he was trap. He had went on so far that he has were bleeding a crimson mist that lit the sphere.
Llina was looking up to the sky as she said, "So pretty."
For some reason, she has a hint of pink in her hair.
The last battle was between Escrima and Gouyo. But also, this fight was over as Gouyo's body was bent and broken every where. Yet, he seemed fine as he was sleeping on the ground while black mist came from out of his joints.
So now, their were two girls versus two boys as Eden and Aqua were out. Or was it?
Lightning then began to strike the ground repeatedly.
