Somewhere in the world
"Lava Magic: Magna Blast!" A massive wave of lava shot toward a humanoid beast and enveloped its body.
"It's not dead yet!" Foxtrot shouted.
Ramirez Vulcan, a user of lava magic, was sweating profusely and the area surrounding him was covered in lava.
"Fire Magic: Hellblazing Fist!" A massive wave of fire shot into the sky.
Although it looked like they wasted their mana, they actually predicted the beast's movement as the humanoid beast came flying out of the lava. The fire enveloped the humanoid beast's body and sizzling could be heard.
Swoosh!
Bang!
The beast was too quick for Ramirez to react and was slammed to the ground by the beast.
"Heh! Puny Human, did you think you could beat me?"
"Ha! Don't make me laugh, We've been waiting for you to stay still. Aiden, bind him to the ground!"
"Sealing Magic: Binding!"
Glowing chains appeared on the beast's body, restricting and stopping him in place.
"Carlos, pierce this thing's exoskeleton."
Carlos made a metal lance and the fire user, Kai, used his fire magic to heat up the tip. After the tip was heated, Carlos charged forward and pierced the beast's exoskeleton.
Blah!
A large hole was made in the beast's chest and purple blood splattered on the ground. The blood spilled on Ramirez's body and sizzling could be heard.
"Ramirez! Wash that blood off!" Foxtrot shouted with urgency.
A high pressure of water shot toward Ramirez and the blood came off.
"Thank you, Nia… This shit burns!!!" Ramirez shouted in pain.
"A hundred points for dealing with a Mid-E Ranked beast. You're the second ground to kill a Mid-E Ranked beast."
"Who was the first?"
"Lycaon's group was the first, but they didn't kill theirs exactly."
"Not surprised at all."
…
Somewhere in the world
Bang!
A large monster with horns slammed a boy into the ground and began to absorb the boy's blood from the ground.
"Darkness Magic: Dead Risen" A girl spoke.
A medium sized wolf broke through the ground and charged toward the monster. The wolf pounced and latched onto the monster's neck.
Roar!
The monster let out a loud roar and grabbed the wolf off its neck, and slammed it into the ground. The wolf let out a loud whimper before dying from the impact.
"Dimensional Magic: Dimension Slash!" A boy shouted.
With a swing of his sword, the boy slashed and tore open the dimension of the world. The monster's arm was sucked into the tear and let out a loud roar that froze everyone.
"Tch! You guys are weak!" A boy berated the group. "Gravity Magic: Gravity Slam!"
The monster was slammed into the ground and a large sword pierced through its abdomen. Another large sword appeared and slammed into the beast's neck, cutting it off.
"Wui, why didn't you use your Wind Blades to prevent the Wendigo pouncing on you?" Juliet asked.
"I don't know… When it was pouncing, I froze and my mind went blank…" Wui spoke.
"Lendell, you shouldn't look down on your friends or you might die without their help."
"Huh?! If they can't keep up then they're dead weight!" Lendell shouted with anger.
…
One month later
"You actually mastered 'Power augmentation' within a month… Unbelievable…" The master spoke with disbelief.
"Master, teach me how to turn my will into power!" The boy got onto his knees and bowed.
"Hmm… I don't know how…"
"What?! Why?"
"Well… it just happens…"
The boy was in disbelief by his master's response and anger began to rise.
"I did all of this training, just to not be able to use my willpower against my enemy?!" The boy asked with anger.
"You dare raise your voice at your master!?" The master asked, releasing his willpower against the boy.
The boy fell to one knee and struggled to stand up. The master approached the boy and raised his fist, which was infused with power augmentation.
The master's fist changed color and immense power could be radiating. Boy was having many thoughts running through his mind, such as death.
Bang!
The master slammed his fist against a wall and the entire wall shattered, along with half of the mountain. This display of power was to show the boy his place but the boy had other plans.
The boy slowly began to stand and his eye flashed, releasing his own willpower against the Master's willpower. Both of their wills collided and sent rippling shockwaves throughout the hound forest, alerting the numbered hounds.
'I knew it… Only under certain conditions, one may unlock 'King's Will' but only a few have it even if they have a strong will…' The stranger thought to himself.
Although the master wasn't using his willpower, 'King's Will,' to its maximum, he was still impressed by the boy's willpower.
The stranger stopped his willpower and allowed the boy's willpower to envelope his body. The master began to bask and understand the boy's willpower until the unknown happened.
Bang!
The stranger was slammed into the ground by the boy's willpower and he felt an alarming presence.
'This… this isn't King's Will… this is Emperor's Will!' The stranger was flabbergasted by this new revelation.
The master then activated his 'King's Will' and overpowered the boy's will. The boy, surprised, was slammed into the ground and passed out from such a strong willpower.
"You're gonna have a lot of enemies, once they learn you have 'Emperor's Will'. As your master, I will have to seal its power and your enhanced sixth sense or they'll catch onto your powers quickly." The master spoke.
The master bit his finger and used his blood to create symbols onto the boy's body. After a while, the master finished and the symbols lit up until chains appeared, and wrapped the boy's body then disappearing.
'You must break the cycle… It seems like they're finally coming to get me.'
Bang!
A figure kicked the master in the stomach, sending him flying into a mountain far away. The damage caused the master to puke blood and almost fall to the ground.
"What have you done to him?!" The woman asked angered.
"If it isn't the hound's strongest, Seraph."
"How do you know about me?" She asked.
"You gave me a good beating in the past but this time… I'll return the beating."
Using King's Will, the stranger managed to freeze Seraph and the surrounding members. Seraph was left flabbergasted by the stranger's power and tried to free herself.
"How do you know how to use 'King's Will?!' Only certain people know how to use it and know of its existence!" Seraph asked.
"The Dark Guild knows everything in this world. King's Will, Emperor's Will, the Werewolf Emperor's death, even knowing the boy wields Murasama." The master stared at the boy.
"Enough!' Seraph broke free.
She then released her auras and appeared next to the master. Her fist collided with his face, sending him flying again into the ground.
"You seem to have pissed off the boss…"
"Delta! How have you been? I heard your sister died fighting the vampires." The master snickered.
"There are certain things not to be spoken about, one of them being my sister's death." Delta's eyes flashed and a blast of aura shot toward the stranger.
Bang!
The blast of aura had sent the stranger flying with blood spewing out of his mouth. It was then that everyone noticed the abnormal blood loss.
"Stand back! The amount of blood coming out of him isn't normal!" Seraph warned the members.
"You always were smart, you know that!" The master appeared next to Seraph, taking her by surprise at his increase in speed. His leg then slammed against her side, sending her flying into the ground.
Feeling his presence, they were baffled as his power kept increasing abnormally. His rank jumped from Low-S Ranked to Mid-SS ranked in minutes.
"Are you trying to die faster? You're using your own life force to increase your power. At this point, we can wait until your boost runs out." Seraph spoke with a smirk.
"Only if it were that simple. You see, I've roamed the world and gathered many powerful weapons. One of the weapons is the Heavenly Halberd!" The stranger said with excitement.
With one slash, a massive wave of aura shot out and made everything in its path disappear. Each swing held the power to destroy a well-built castle and a small village, which was shown when the stranger destroyed the surrounding forest.
"I know you, you're the Demon of the Dark Guild also known as the strongest member."
"Incorrect! Before you rudely interrupted me, I was training that boy over there." The master pointed.
"Why would you blatantly admit that? We could extract memories from him of you."
"That won't be possible with Murasama guarding his memories. Hell, even without Murasama, you wouldn't be able to access them regardless. Enough chit-chat, I want to finish this!"
The master slashed toward Seraph and the other hound members. Large waves of aura was released and the forest was soon destroyed into nothingness.
"You're only wasting mana by doing this!" Seraph shouted with frustration.
While he was attacking, someone was sneaking behind him and closing the distance quickly. With a sword in hand, the person pierced through the stranger's chest.
"W-What?" The master turned around.
"You're less powerful than we last clashed, Demon's apprentice."
"You're… Who are you again?" The master asked.
"Sierra. I'm the greatest healer out of the hounds and always follow Seraph for support.
"Sierra… You're the one who tried to attack the Dark Guild's treasury!"
Stab!
Before Sierra could comprehend, a dagger pierced her leg and the master disappeared from his position. This move caused everyone to look around frantically to find his exact location.
"This may be against your will but I'm giving you some of the founder's blood so the ritual will be complete. You shall forever be labeled the 'Demon Heir' for being his true apprentice and to show this, I will create a large symbol on your back."
Using a mysterious blood, the stranger made a strange symbol and soon it burned itself onto the boy's back.
"I've got to go, I'll be seeing you in the future."
"There he is!"
"You're too late."
A portal opened up and the master went through the portal. Just like that, the Master from the Dark Guild escaped from the hounds.
