Sophie looked into his eyes. Her expression was hard as stone, and crystalline tears glistened on her face.
"I don't understand. Why are you here?"
Damien slowly approached her and rubbed her head. She clung to him without hesitation.
"I... I came to help you..."
"Why?"
"I... I don't know, I just felt it. I didn't want anything to happen to you."
"I'm sorry."
Damien couldn't really explain the reason. All he could do was hug her.
"Please, brother, don't do this anymore. You have to tell me first, do you understand?"
She held back tears, but still sketched a sweet smile. "When we get home, we can rest and then enjoy a delicious dessert. Do you like a strawberry dessert?"
"Yes!"
"Would you also like some tea with lemon?"
"Of course." Damien chuckled and nodded his head.
