Chapter 199 - Secrets, Sophia's Super Transformation!

The tragic man's mother mentioned a secret technique suited for couples or spouses, where the more in sync they are, the more powerful the technique becomes.

The method involves the couple mentally connecting, merging their minds, and then using spiritual energy to summon as a warrior would summon a battle beast.

They channel spiritual energy into each other, combining their strengths for the summoning. If mastered, this technique could even allow them to jointly use battle skills. Such combined summoning and battle skills would be far more powerful, potentially leading to unexpected transformations.

The effectiveness of this ancient technique, lost for thousands of years and accidentally discovered by the tragic man's mother, varied from person to person.

However, even at its weakest, it was significantly stronger than individual efforts. She believed the technique was incomplete and could increase its power tenfold if fully restored, so she renamed it the 'Fusion Technique.'

Ideally suited for couples or spouses, Eddie, despite being a flirt, had no evil intentions towards his sister.

He wanted to use the Fusion Technique to help Sophia, seeing her struggle with her limited strength.

Sophia was diligent and stubborn in her practice, but as a plant-based specialist lacking guidance, her progress was slow, which weighed on Eddie.

Eddie believed as long as his intentions were pure, using this technique, even with his sister, was acceptable.

He didn't tell Sophia the full details of the technique, only instructing her to cooperate and letting her know he would channel spiritual energy into her for summoning.

"Brother, I'm ready," Sophia said, placing her small hand in Eddie's palm, closing her eyes, and meditating calmly as instructed.

Trusting her brother completely, she naturally entered a serene state of mind, free from the defensive barriers typical of other girls. Connected to her brother, she felt utterly secure.

Eddie was astonished at how quickly Sophia entered this state, realizing her mind was as pure as a blank slate, devoid of distractions.

He admired her purity and began to carefully channel his innate energy into her. Sophia's body slightly trembled but offered no resistance.

The innate energy flowed through her meridians, circulating in her body as it did in Eddie's, and then extended out through her other hand.

Despite the innate energy dissipating significantly in Sophia's unopened meridians, it was still abundant for her.

Effortlessly, she summoned her grimoire, which she normally couldn't have done without resting for over an hour. This time, she succeeded in summoning it with ease, far more effortlessly than usual.

In Sophia's mind, a brilliant golden light shone, within which she could see Eddie's image amidst the radiance.

Though his face was obscured by the light, she felt his powerful presence, his eyes shining like stars.

She felt lighter, as if melting into the golden light and floating towards her brother.

In her mind's eye, Eddie appeared as a giant, towering dozens of meters high, while she seemed incredibly small in comparison.

The giant Eddie extended a golden hand filled with golden runes, easily lifting Sophia into his palm. Energy surged in his palm, causing her to rapidly grow.

Sophia realized that after receiving Eddie's energy, she transformed into a towering giant. Standing in his palm, she felt she could touch the sky.

If she opened her eyes, she would see herself floating three feet off the ground, her body illuminated by a ten-meter-tall green female giant's silhouette behind her.

This silhouette, resembling Sophia but more mature, radiated a soft green light. Its hair sprouted young branches and leaves like a tree, with faint green wings resembling leaves, flowers, and rainbows.

Eddie was astounded but focused on continuously channeling his innate energy into Sophia.

When the first meridian opened, Sophia, still meditating, let out a soft cry as golden light emerged around her.

The green silhouette leaned down, merging with the golden light and into Sophia's body.

Her Bronze Level grimoire upgraded to a Silver Level, with a new image of the green female giant surrounded by golden light appearing on a blank page.

Sophia's aura exploded, her clothes turning to ash, and the shockwave scared the savage bulls away.

Even the sleeping white bull opened its eyes, watching with intelligent gleam, contemplating something.

The previously dead century-old tree guardians were automatically summoned, kneeling respectfully before Sophia.

Eddie hugged Sophia, unconcerned about her exposed body, and quickly conjured clothes for her. Then, he curiously examined her newly upgraded Silver Level grimoire.

"Green Tree Elemental," a humanoid elemental class, Silver Level 1, life-guarding battle beast, elemental affinity with nature, special skills 'Revival,' 'Green Growth,' and 'Spirit Root.'

"Life-guarding battle beast?" Eddie was astounded that Sophia now had two life-guarding battle beasts.

"Wow..."

Sophia, overwhelmed with emotion, suddenly burst into tears, hugging Eddie tightly.

Her tears flowed uncontrollably as Eddie comforted her, and after a while, she managed to calm down, laughing through her tears.

"I'm just so happy... Is this a gift from you, brother? Thank you!"

"No, this is something you had within you. But okay, having an extra life-guarding battle beast is no big deal. Don't cry anymore!" Eddie realized that explaining further wouldn't convince Sophia, so he let her believe what she wanted.

Although he didn't give it to her directly, he had played a part in it. Sophia had never been so happy in her life, her tearful yet joyful expression was incredibly endearing to Eddie, a stark contrast to her previously lonely and cold demeanor.

Outside, the battle continued.

The Bull Shadow, Ahman, was stomping the ground, stunning the savage bulls before flipping them over.

The Blood Queen circled high above, striking with incredible speed.

She had already killed three Bronze Savage Bulls with her Dragon-Slaying Dagger and lured two Golden Savage Bulls away.

At first, Ahman struggled against the savage bulls, but as the two tree guardians enhanced by the Green Tree Elemental joined the fight, the tide turned in their favor.

Eddie noticed the white bull finally standing up, realizing a tough battle was imminent.

He instructed Sophia to stay inside the corridor and swiftly approached the white bull.

The white bull was a formidable opponent for both the Blood Queen and the Bull Shadow.

Its true challenger could only be little Wenli.
