[Music Recommendation: Western Nights ~ Ethel Cain]
. . .Few hours earlier at Raven's Mansion
Azalea rushed down from the car; she almost lost her balance trying to run inside the house.
"Easy," Old Bat shouted, closing the car door before following the woman behind. She was happy to see both daughter and mother reunite again, but it would have been better if Azalea had even a little memory of her daughter.
Lily stepped out of the house, with her hands behind her waist trying to keep her balance, and her big tummy causing her to walk with her legs spread apart. She had a bright smile on her face when she saw her mother running towards her. "Mum!" Lily whispered.
It was the best picture Lily could ever think of. She imagined that her mother now remembered her and was only running to come hug her and celebrate her grandchild.
"Mum," Lily whispered again, opening her hands wide to receive her mother's hug.
