Once all seven of them left, Rodrick turned towards Victor. " General Victor, How can they be so casual when speaking about Master Harry. Don't they know that, he is the greatest legend of our time? Are they so oblivious to this fact or do they even have the ideas about who he really is?" He asked, with a clear disappointment on his face.
Irene smirked at his brother's words. And Victor looked embarrassed.
Ha ha... Samuel laughed and put his hand on his grandson's shoulder. "My dear Rodrick, don't get fooled by the simplicity and down to earth nature of those six young men. Their abilities are far beyond even your imagination son."
Even though, Roderick was there for almost an year, this subject was neven been broached. He was only informed that Irene was studying under Helen and had made some good friends who considered her as a part of their family.
Fredrick sighed. "Son, what do you consider the proudest moment of your life?"
Of course it's the time when master harry gave me suggestions on improving my combat skills, father. I was the first disciple to ever receive any guidance from him. Because of his guidance, I am considered one of the best swordsman in the entire Winden region." Roderick proudly announced.
Fredrick gave his son a look that almost resembled like pitty to Roderick.
" Those six are the personal deciples Master harry took under him almost 7 years ago my son." Fredrick broke the news to his son.
What!!!! Roderick was stunned. "You mean these are the six boys master harry took in as deciples?" He asked in disbelief, looking around at everyone.
Victor noded with a begrudging look, saying, "Not only that, Master Harry himself announced that, having those lads as his deciples were the proudest moment in his life. Not the other way around."
Rodrick was dumbfounded for a moment. Lillian picked up the explanation, " Son we told you that we were attackd twice and came out unscathed right. It's all thanks to those six. Then she told the story about their attack in the forest and How they were saved by these lads.
"And a couple of years ago. We were all gonner's. Fortunately those lads were here with us. Dave the one who put the bet, took 9 arrows... 9 poisonous arrows on his back for Irene not even flinching and came out unscathed after a short healing from Chris." Samuel explained.
Roderick felt dizzy by the information given by his family. "Are they.... are they so powerful?" He spoke his thought loudly.
"Yes brother, they are powerful beyond our imagination. I can guarantee that anyone of them even Chris, whome they consider the weakest in the combat can facea a thousand trained soldiers by himself and will come out victorious and unscathed." Irene said with a proud look on her face.
This proclamation from Irene send shivers through everyone's back.
Irene continued, "If you feel this way about Chris, who is the most sweet and kindest of the bunch, just imagin about Alan? Master Harry told us that he is "The Unrivaled Sword Master" in this entire kingdom. Already surpassed even him in swords play."
There was a stunned silence. " The thing is, I had never seen them use their Mana for any combat till today. They had never faced any challenge at all. Even when they faced a pack of 80 Hyena's, they simply took them down as if it was a childs play."
I had seen them kill wild beasts with their bare hands without effort. And I had even seen them show mercy to the most deadliest of the beast because it was having cubs.
"The only thing they can't tolerate is when someone tries to threatens their family. Do you remember grandfather what Dave did to Walton when his threatened the girls?"
Samuel visibly shivered and noded in both admiration and fear.
"They are truely a living legends in my eyes. Kind, strong, responsible, respectful, humble, fearless and the deadliest of any I have ever seen or I would even go as far as saying that I would ever hope to see in this life." Irene announced without a hint of doubt in her statement.
