Chapter 164 - Time to leave for the University.

The news of Lilly's acceptance at the university brought joy to everyone at home and they even celebrated the news by having a feast that night. Ben and Bob disappeared and came back with a few white deers and some chicken like wild birds.

The food prepared from these were tender and delicious, making everyone devovur more than what they would generally eat.

They all remained with the Heathrow's for a few more days, and even spent a couple of days at Irene's place, as they would not be returning to the Winden City for the next two years.

The evening before their departure to the Green Town, the Duke organized a family gathering, bringing together the Heathrows and his own family, joined by Victor.

The group had a delightful time, with the boys and two girls especially enjoying the spotlight. Dave's clever comments sparked lively exchanges, countered by Ben and Bob.

Alan, Chris, and William, while smiling, maintained a mature demeanor. Even the girls' participation in the banter made the meal unforgettable.

Fredrick and his family started to comprehend why Irene cherished the company of these youngsters. They were on the brink of adulthood, their maturity shining through in their interactions.

The trip back to Green town was mostly uneventful, save for a couple of encounters with wild beasts.

Lilly and Irene were tasked with handling these situations, as they lacked real-world experience.

Alan, noticing two cubs hiding in a nearby bush, trembling with fear at the sight of them. Informed the others to let the red-eyed tiger go, after talking to it.

They had planned to include a day of hunting twice a week to provide real world experience to the girls and have some fun in the forest.

The teenage group settled into a routine of learning, training, tending to the injured, and enjoying their activities.

Both the Duke's family and Heathrow's visited twice in these two years and were extatic watching the growth of everyone.

Two years passed quickly, and the moment to depart for university was rapidly approaching.

All the boys had reached the age of 20 by this time, while Lilly and Irene were nearing 19. Irene, six months older than Lilly, would celebrate her 19th birthday in a month.

Both Lilly and Irene had tapped into their internal energy and were diligently training to expand their mana pool. After a few weeks of practice with the six young men, they began using their mana to heal.

The healing hall had expanded both in size and reputation due to its effectiveness and high survival rate. While other healers struggled, Helen's healing hall continued to thrive, treating people.

Maya, Helen's first disciple also relocated to the Green Town and started working as a master Healer since an year now.

Chris's dream had become a reality. Eight out of ten gravely wounded or sick people would now recover and return home happily.

People from nearby town and villages also started to bring gravely injured people to their healing hall.

Helen now oversaw more than six magical healers, twelve non-magical healers, and over twenty assistants and helpers.

Alan and Chris aided the six magical healers in expanding their mana pools, with varying degrees of success. Four of these talented young healers more than doubled their mana pools through their training and began dedicating most of their time to healing.

Non magical healer's also got things to learn which were impossible if they had stayed outside. This made them want to put more effort and learn the healing arts, herb lore and human anatomy seriously.

After discussing with Helen, the eight of them gradually reduced their visits to the healing hall and completely stopped visiting three months ago. This decision was made to ensure that all healers would no longer rely on them, as they were preparing to journey towards the Capital.

Everything was going smoothly, and the group of young people was ready to embark on their journey.

"Grandpa John, This is a kind of communication medal. I was working on it for many years now." Alan handed John a copper medal .

" The incident Ben had all those years ago made me work on this device. I don't want any of us to go through it again."

" In case of any emergencies break it and its twin which I have in my possession will react and will let us know about it. Irrespective of the distance, we will be able to get the news and will try to come back as soon as possible." Alan finished explaining.

Everyone there were amazed by the method Alan had invented. " See, I always told you, all my grandchildren have their grandfather's gene." John proudly proclaimed.

Everyone laughed heartily and they turned to bed late that night having a good family time.

Next day after breakfast and a heartfelt goodbyes, all eight of them stood infront of the estate gate and sighed sadly. They were leaving the Morgan's estate and the Green town, which they would not be able to see in a long time.

Atleast that's what they thought.....!!!
