Harry also said his goodbyes to his deciples and everyone else. As he was about to leave, Rose called him out and gave his the sacks of gold she had received, shocking everyone.
Harry, truely taken aback asked, " Child why are you giving it to me?" Rose smiled and said, its not for you, its for the academy students fund. The boys applauded and both the family members were proud of her decision. Before taking it from her, Harry asked, " If you keep it, it will be of use to you in future child. Why are you giving so much gold away?"
"My brothers had already given enough for our futures. If we still need anything, they will be here for us. So this doesn't matter much for us." Rose said proudly.
Harry patted her head proudly, collected it and then took off waving to everyone.
The journey of the three girls in mastering the healing arts commenced. While Rose focused on learning the fundamentals, the other two became disciples of Helen.
Empowered by the Heaven-level energy stone, Helen resolved to extending her healing services to the local community, including town guards, soldiers, and adventurers in need of healing.
But she was very clear about the condition to accept the patients. The rules were simple, they must be in dire situation or others should have tried and failed in healing them.
As the boys had planned to stay in Green town. They also had decided to support Helen and incase of Bob, Ben and Dave planned to learn the advanced healing arts along with Lilly and Irene.
All six of them had prepared a training regimen for themselves and planned to learn, work and also expand their knowledge in other fields.
As the expansion and organization of the healing hall required time, Helen granted them a month to enjoy themselves and acquaint themselves with the town and its surroundings, particularly for Rose and Irene, as the others were already quite familiar with the town.
All nine of them, six boys and three girls, started exploring the town. Four days later Dave received a letter from Stan, the headmaster of Winden City's academy, stating his father's failing health and request to see Dave one last time, before he passes away.
Dave initially contemplated whether to go or not, but against everyone's insisting, he decided to leave the next day, with the other five accompanying him. To his surprise the girls wanted to join them, Irene especially was curious to see who in their right mind would let someone like Dave leave their family forever!!!.
Solaris town was a week's journey from Green town. Six boys with their horses and a carriage for the girls started towards Solaris town.
Except Dave, this was the first time for everyone to visit the Solaris town. After two days of uneventful travel in the forest, they entered the rocky terrain.
Their journey was slowed down due to the difficulties of navigating the carriage. When they were half a day into the rockey terrain, they came across a strong stench. The boys and their horses became alert.
If not for the girls, they would not have bothered about this matter. But as the girls were there, they obviously didn't want to take any risks.
After another hour of travel they came across couple of half eaten and rotten carcasses of mountain lion's. This made the boys go into high alert mode.
It was generally the mountain lions, that would kill other beasts in these terrain. But now they were being killed.
After few more minutes of travel they came across five to six mountain lion's body, again half eaten and rotten.
Williams and Bob scouted out and inspected the surrounding areas.
"Guys it muat be a pack of hyenas. If I am not wrong. Atlease 40 of them." Bob surmised. William noded in agreement but had a doubtful expression. Wil, what are you thinking? Alan asked. "Al, we have seen and encounterd hyenas groups of around 10 to 20 in number maximum. But more than 40 numbers in a single pack does not make any sense. But the footprint and other clues indicated otherwise."
Others also noded at this. While they continued their travel they started noticing more and more carcasses. They came across more than eighty wild beast's carcass infact. All of the beast killed were either pack hunters or big cats. And they even saw a few Hyena's dead in between but were not eaten.
"The hunters were being hunted." Alan thought to himself.
In the evening they planned to rest near a cliff, not to get surrounded in case of any attack from the Hyena's. Luckily nothing disturbed them that night.
