Alan sighed. " guys start skinning the two boars bodies. I will place the other one on top of the tree and come."
After saying that, Alan went and hoisted one boars carcass on his shoulder and started walking towards the huge tree.
Everyone was still staring at Alan with a stunned look when all of a sudden he started to climb the huge tree with a wild boar's carcass on his shoulder.
The girls and ladies gasped in shock while the men simply started at him bewildered.
After placing the carcass on a branch 30 meters high securely, Alan jumped down.
"No.... Alan". Both Mary and Elena gasped in fear. Alan landed, rolled over, stood up and began walking towards then in a single fluid motion.
Everyone sighed in relief once they saw he was safe. As he neared the boys, Dave smacked on Alan's head, saying,"Show Off....." Other guys and Harry began to chuckle at this.
Victor who came back to his senses first, saw the pile of meat and asked in shock."Are you planning to store some of the meat for tomorrow?"
"What!?, no, no we will finish the last scrap of this tonight itself." The clarification given by Bob once again brought a wave of shock to the Duke's entourage. The Heathrow's and Harry who were aware of these boys appetite didn't mind the shock displayed by others.
A quarter of the boar's meat went into the huge cooking pot took out from Alan's storage ring. Remaining meats were skewed into large sticks and were kept on the fire to roast.
After almost an hour, Williams called everyone and handedover few pieces of steak and Alan served the stew to everyone in a big bowls.
Lilly and Rose were the first one's to dash towards Alan's stew and got a bowl full of it.
Once everyone were given a bowl of stew and steaks, the boy sat talking and laughing happily.
Puzzled, Samuel, the old duke asked, " Don't you guys want to have the food?"
"Oh that they will once you all have your fill, your grace." Harry spoke casually, who was helping himself with theice the quantity of the steaks that the others were having.
After noding his head, Samuel started to eat and was amazed by the taste of the stew. The meat was cooked perfectly. The spices used gave wonderful taste and aroma to the stew. He finished his bowl of stew quiker than he anticipated. Embarrassed when he looked up to see other's reactions he was again taken aback to see almost everyone was going for a second servings.
Even Irene and her mother who were picky and delicate eaters, were wolfing down the stew and steak with a gusto. Then he took out a piece of steak and put it in his mouth. Flavors burst at first bite itself and the crunchy outer layer and the juicy inner meat made him desire more.
Everyone took 2nd, 3rd and even the 4th servings. Once everyone felt contented, they stopped going for another round.
Harry almost ate more than 5 time of a normal person.
Even after almost 15 people had their fill, they saw more than 3/4th of the stew and stakes left in the pot and on the fire.
All the boys then grinned and stretched. Ben looked at the others who were sitting contentedly and said, " OK everyone, it will take us some time ro finish all this. If anyone feels sleepy, please feel free to take rest. We will be guarding the area tonight."
Then they started eating. Initally everyone lookd at them skeptically, as time went by, one by one started dropping their jaws to the floor.
The boys who had bowls almsot twice the size of what othere were served with, kept on going back to refilling. Talking, laughing, finishing their bowl and going back to refill again. On the other side even the steaks also began to vanish.
They went for 5.... 10.... 15 times and still were going back for refills. Finally after 18th time, the stew pot was emptied. There was only one large steak left. For which they started to argue. Finally Dave won the arguement for killing the mercenaries and gobbled it down in a few mouthfulls and sighed with content.
"That bloody... beast. If not for it, we would have had a feast tonight." Ben was heard grumbling, stunning everyone.
"That means they are not full yet? Do they have a bottomless pit inside their belly?" Irene wonderd loudly in utter shock.
