Upon reaching the master's training grounds, the boys observed the presence of numerous academy masters, spanning both the arts and healing sections.
"Looks like masters from the arts section are here," remarked Dave.
"And also from the healing section," added Chris.
Approaching the entrance, they encountered guards barring their way. "No entry today, kids. If you want to observe seniors and masters practicing, come back tomorrow," the guard informed them.
"Ah, you're here!" Harry approached with enthusiasm, and everyone present bowed in acknowledgment.
"What's this? You brought some friends along?" Harry raised an eyebrow.
"They're our roommates, Master Harry. So, we took the liberty to bring them," Williams explained sheepishly.
"Ha ha ha... good lads. Friends shouldn't be kept in the dark. At least they should know a few of your secrets. What do you say?" Harry grinned mischievously.
Alan and Williams exchanged knowing smiles and nodded. The four boys felt a sense of confusion lingering after the conversation.
"Well, come in, boys. Almost everyone is here. This is going to be the biggest surprise anyone in the academy has ever experienced to date," Harry declared rubbing his hands in exitement, leading them inside. Perplexed by the master's behavior, the guards scratched their heads, standing in attention.
He escorted them directly to the weapons room within the training hall, revealing an array of neatly arranged weapons on the shelves.
"Alan, I assume you're comfortable with a sword, and Williams, dual axes suit you, right?" Both nodded in agreement with Master Harry's words.
From the shelves, Harry selected a sword and a pair of red-painted axes, handing them over. "The edges are blunt to prevent major injuries during sparring, but it can still sting if someone is hit, so avoid vital areas." Both nodded in understanding.
"Familiarize yourselves with the weapons. The event kicks off in 15 minutes," Harry announced with a grin before departing.
"Good luck, Al," grinned William. "You too, Wil," Alan replied with a smile.
Both took their weapons, practiced combat movements, and, satisfied with the weapons feel in their hands, sat at a table, engaging in casual conversation.
Within minutes, a resonant announcement echoed, unmistakably Master Harry's voice.
"Ladies and gentlemen, I see majority of the staff here. I thank all of you for joining today's event amid your busy schedules. I assure you, no one will leave here tonight with regrets. This is set to be the grandest and most thrilling event the academy has ever hosted. Keep your mouths closed after witnessing this extraordinary spectacle."
"Presenting my new personal disciples, Alan and Williams!" Harry declared, prompting the two boys to take a deep breath before emerging from the weapons room onto the vast ground, surrounded by built stands.
"What? Harry's personal disciples? How is that possible? When did he even take personal disciples?" Murmurs erupted among the seated masters in the stands.
Harry raised his hand, quieting the murmurs. "All your doubts will be addressed after tonight's thrilling display."
"Now, let me properly introduce these two," Harry positioned himself between the boys.
"To my right is Alan Morgan, and to my left is Williams Morgan. Brothers in everything but blood."
"They are the grandchildren of Alec Morgan and John Morgan, one of the finest duo every to pass out of this Academy." Murmurs erupted again in the stands at these revelation.
"After the headmaster introduced me to them yesterday, I conducted a thorough background check using my network." Harry smiled apologetically at the boys, winking.
They had already achieved many honors of their own, without using their family or their grandparents name.
"Initially, I had a different test in mind, but after verifying their background, I made a slight change in my plan. Instead of testing them, I've organized a show for the entire academy staff. Witness the miracle as these two engage in friendly sparring sessions with a few others."
