Chapter 2 - A FAMILY DISCUSSION: INQUIRIES ABOUT CHRIST, CHRISTMAS AND DECEMBER

We back my people and we'll be discussing this December season in its fullness; I said elegantly as I crossed my legs. This special talk show is to discuss the meaning of Christmas and the significance of December, I added. The stage was set in our cozy living room, with a warm fire crackling in the background, lights and camera. We were ready for a good time with our audience and listeners.

We were about to go viral being on big screens right now, we were dropping all family acquaintances and accomplices to get legally official as possible as we can. Alright we rolled that up and this time was lights, camera and action…

Welcome back from our short commercial break, I am Miss Aneka Jones, the host of the show. I have just welcomed and introduced my two guests, my sister seated here by my right Miss Juliet Jones and my beautiful mother seated by my left-hand Mrs. Shelly Jones. My mom responded, welcome everyone to our Christmas talk show. Tonight, were going to delve into the heart of the holiday season and explore the true meaning of Christmas and the significance of December, said my mother.

Wow that was a nice intro to our discussion for this night, I joyfully gave my remarks. Well let's start with the first question: What is Christmas?

I gave that question to my sister since she had not spoken yet but sure all of us would drop our opinions just after she must have spoken. So, Julie What is Christmas? Like, what does it mean to you? How do you understand it? She replied, Christmas is a time of joy, love and giving. It is a celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ and a time for families to come and share in the spirit of generosity and kindness, she concluded. Mrs. Shella Jones added, I mean Christmas reminds us to carry on the joy, love and giving into the new year. It is mostly not just a time in December but a time that takes over the whole month itself, as there are always more than a lot to share, explore and remember at this particular season of Christmas. It is a time to reflect on the blessings in our lives and show appreciation for the people we care about.

Wow, that was lovely to hear and captivating right there, actually I think this has gone beyond a mere family discussion. It's already something hot cooking for our viewers and listeners to hear, I feel like we should actually be in that season already. I can already fantasize December and what it's going to look like already. Well, that was by the way. Before we commenced this season of our Christmas show on the maamiz You tube channel. We got some questionnaires from our listeners, devoted subscribers and viewers all around the world and we just extracted three questions for this episode which of course the first one we have just answered, and next on our Q's & A's is Who is Jesus Christ?

Okay maami you'll take this one first, my mom took over the floor and started speaking but you know the vibe as it is, we were all seating on the couch and not actually standing but seating to converse and share our opinions, she began talking, you see "Jesus Christ is the central figure of Christianity. He is believed to be the son of God and the savior of humanity, a lot happened that according to the scriptures and testaments of the bible, his birth is believed to be 25th December and is celebrated universally on December during Christmas. His teachings of love, forgiveness and compassion have had a profound impact on the world and continues to impact people of all faiths. My sister Julie added in synchronization, "Jesus is also known for his message of peace and acceptance. His life and teachings serve as a guiding light for many people especially during Christmas season".

You two just wowed me again, that was great, awesome, nothing short of anything spectacular. Thank you for sharing your insights, Finally, let's explore the meaning of December. What does the month signify to each of you?

I don't know who to throw this question to first, dah, dah, dah. Okay any one you can go first, Maami began to answer the question first, Okay I knew it, I responded,

She went on, "December is a time of transition and renewal. It marks the end of one year and the beginning of another, it's a time for reflection, gratitude and setting new goals for the future." And of course, how can I forget? Christmas is the radiant centerpiece of December; because they both share an enchanting bond and unique atmosphere where homes shimmer with lights, hearts glow with warmth and spirits dance with joy. "Every December, always a December to remember". I'm floored by your short but précised answer, it is an incredible feat on the show, Julie anything to say…

She responded, however, beyond the hustle and bustle, December invites reflection; a time to look back on the year's journey, reminiscing about the moment of triumph and growth. Although, I tipped out some points from what maami has said, December is the last month of the year and Christmas has a nice ring to it, because for many, the countdown begins early in the month, marked with cheerful sights of decorations adorning streets, storefronts and homes, twinkling lights transforming the neighborhoods, families coming together embracing the spirit of togetherness and creating cherished memories. December is a time people remember all the things they've planned but could not achieve that were fun, the people they didn't remember to show love and the things that give them happiness doing it more frequently just to have a nice recap every time they remember they're already in the last month of the year.

Whether it is trimming the tree, hanging stockings, or singing carols by a crackling fire, these rituals foster a sense of belonging, closeness and a spirit bound touch of remembrance, she elaborated. This sounded more amazing and thrilling to hear than maami, I must confess or is it as we discuss deeper it gets way more interesting. Julie adds while showing an outspoken facial expression and deep affection when she says, "I even forget to mention the knock outs and fireworks that split the skies all through December and breaking into the new year, Men! It's just all about exaggerated fun!

Mrs. Shelly Jones (Maami) breaks her while she is lost in her words, if I were to tell a folklore about the birth of Christmas and the best answer to the question what of December? It would be a very long day. I resonated, wow. Wow! Wow! Wow! I feel that will come up on another episode of the maamiz show, I guess, this was already a refreshing moment for y'all my viewers and listeners. Ain't that right, they both nodded. Incredible, I will personally love to hear it.

As the discussion came to a close, we reflected on the deeper meaning of Christmas, Jesus Christ and the significance of December. Our talk show had not only brought us together as a family but also inspired the audience to embrace the spirit of love, compassion and the hope for a holiday season.

We had just concluded episode one of our Christmas talk show streaming on the maamiz channel, it's lovely to have you watch till the end, we still have much in store for you. Do not miss out, Mrs. Shelly Jones and Juliet Jones are sending their regards, I can see too that you send your heartfelt regards. See y'all in our next episode. A true merry Christmas in this season or next, we definitely always do celebrate, holla!
