Another episode of the Christmas show on the Maamiz YouTube channel was about beginning, the stage as usual is set with bright lights and large candy canes, setting the perfect backdrop for the talk show. The host, Aneka Jones, welcomes the audience with a warm smile. Lights, camera and action.
Sup ma' people, how's your day been. Hope it's great just as the Christmas has always been. Mine has been nothing less the wow factor and it already is about to get down. It's a pleasure to have y'all once again on our corner. Stay tuned and stay glued.
The live audience claps simultaneously as she drags further to introduce the guests of the show. Her sister Juliet Jones, Her mom, Mrs. Shelly Jones and her grandmother, Grandma Rose.
It's a pleasure to have you all here, she remarked. They respond as they thank her before the live audience.
Alright guys, we've got a lot of questions that our fans and listeners do ask us. But I just got this one question that popped in my head while preparing the lot of your questions and it bothers me, you know from a place of concern to everyone out there, stories about Christmas has been one of our greatest features, like since we just discussed ours last episode, I felt like I should ask "After Every 365 Days, What's Your Christmas Season Story?" And so, I thought it'd be great to have you share yours with us too and to the wide reach audience out there, so folks can we talk on this, Oh! yes, we can. Julie, get the reviews and stories of the few people that we've gathered.
We began the show more deeply now, as Julie shared the five touching, eventual and stirring stories we got about some people's Christmas seasons. She began reading the two stories she was left with, first person, first story, she called out loud. This one's by Chater Portman, "What I remember most is love, I share love every Christmas season with ma' wife and kids and we have some very wild fun going to the beach, spending time in vacations."
Wow, that's really great to hear, grand, finesse and merry, what everyone loves Christmas season to be, Aneka complimented.
Mrs. Shelly added, I am flattered because we actually do celebrate every Christmas season in our own unique way and by the way, Charter gets to feel, embrace and enjoy every Christmas season. He never really misses out at the end of every year. That's really something I'd like to make functional and consistent for my family and kids from this year said Mrs. Shelly Jones.
Wow! So, yeah mom. You'll be having us do something story giving every December. Love you so much mom, Aneka proposes. I love you too mum, you're the best mom I could ever have says Julie.
Grandma Rose glides in, they even have time in the beach, I'm sure they must have gone ice-skating, swimming, you know some beach vibes, but he didn't include that. Guess, just so he doesn't say too much.
(Everyone choruses in laughter…) But seriously, Aneka seems like you had rules to these stories, like they shouldn't tell the whole thing but their most memorable moment or something of that sort says Grandma.
Yeah, I just wanted to know how they feel every Christmas but something short that captures the seasons story, so we can discuss like four others today. We'll share it and we'll give our insights, comments and advice on the stories.
But that's not really thoughtful if you ask me, we could do like two or three maybe so we can really take our time to digest and discuss these stories. They're stories, I mean they don't need to be rushed, Grandma Rose added.
Noted Grandma, I added. We'll extend the other stories into the other episodes. But aside that, is there something else you feel about this story Julie just read. Yeah, I mean they're a lot of beaches in USA and the world, but we haven't been to any during Christmas.
That's right, Julie and Aneka concur in unison.
I implore that every viewer and listeners out there, just like us or anyone that wants to go on adventure this Christmas, you should really try the beach during Christmas season, it would really make for one of the most epic moments on the Christmas season chapter, Grandma Rose concluded.
(The live audience give a clapping ovation…)
Alright, next up on our Christmas stories is by Sarah Shay, Julie reads. "Every December has been good but last year was a breakthrough because I have always been reluctant about gifts on Christmas because I had never had one outside school, I choose to turn down any gifts from school and hope I'll find one on the outside, it took some time and all the Christmas days was almost gone, but trust me it was worth the wait because when I and my family patrolled the Christmas station that night, I helped the station workers arrange the crafts and décor and, in no particular order, I was gifted a ticket to the biggest Christmas event in USA, I was told it was because of my volunteering. You see my gifts was really worth waiting for. . Never feel your help is a waste, it'll always pay off someday.
(Aww, Mrs. Shelly, Aneka, Julie and Grandma Rose all chorus in surprise and affection as they take their hand close to their chest)
That gripped my emotions, I should really take up my volunteering to the next level, I feel many people really need this, it'll pay off. I believe that said Juliet Jones.
Kids, you should always do charity to anyone that really need it even in school, you know anything that you can offer to help, said Mrs. Shelly. I'm really unlearning and learning a lot through these stories like really.
Really mum, Aneka questioned. That's good to hear. I should have no reasons of not being good, my momma is moved to be a good good woman.
(The live audience choruses in laughter...)
Grandma Rose, you've anything to say, say something.
Okay, okay, okay, All I'll say is that the girl had a change of mind, had faith and it worked out for her. So beautiful and emotional story, I must say.
You see, your stories help to build us, our family, and other families and many other people out there.
Keep them coming…
A'ight Julie another one, so we wrap it up
Okay, Julie answered, this one's is by pamela, she says, "I celebrate every Christmas with my boy... "
Sorry, I'm gonna run that up from the top, I'm going to take that again. Sorry 'bout that. Okay, she says, "I celebrate every Christmas with my boyfriend Chris; and last year was very sad for me because he broke up with me saying I didn't get him gifts and that he wants to start the new year afresh with someone else. I'm so broken, because this Christmas was without Chris. I'm so sad and I feel like this Christmas was not for me"
Eyah, but I'm really sorry. You'd come over it but I don't know what to say, I don't give relationship advice, I'll leave that over to mom and grandma rose. Over to you mom, says Julie
You see my love, love is admirable and love hurts at times but I'd encourage you man up and, be strong, cheerful and share the same love to people and around you, of course they are other people that matter in your life and also, I do not really understand the circumstances that led to that but next time, learn to share love with gifts. It shows passion and compassion. Much love from here, says Mrs. Shelly
Wow mom, that was consolatory and a bit harsh, I feel that too. I should be careful when dating too,
You have to but no one is above mistakes says, Grandma Rose. But above all I'll urge you, this girl from the story and every teen girl, woman and prospective wife out there to pray seriously for the man they'll be dating and even the ones they'll settle with.
(Aneka and Juliet begin laughing)
No this is not a joke, you all should commit your marriage into the hands of God, and also pray you meet your ideal man so you don't make mistakes on the way, and also to the girl in the story, learn to share with him, surprises, gift are very great spark of romance and sustainable relationship. Share some gift to him and apologize, see if he come back but if he doesn't. God take you to the one that's best for you.
Grandma Rose there was giving us marriage counsel and advice, I really feel sorry for you Pamela, but I trust God to lead you to happiness and finding love. I never knew we'll be having any story about relationships & breakups but this one touched me deeply, I must say. Julie imma take what grandma said very seriously, I gotta pray for my ideal person.
I will too aside the joke, it is something every girl should be taking seriously said Juliet
We've been having nailing conversations here, trust you don't miss another episode.
