"Looking at your reaction one might think you know me."
A being made of subtle white light said.
The being had feminine features and was wearing what seemed to be a plain long gown.
The being felt like nature, it had the feeling one gets when you are home, it felt like you are standing next to the world, cause she [we gonna call her she for now.] She smells like freshly cut grass, her voice sounds clear and calming.
"How?"
Azel asked.
"How what?"
Azel pointed at her and continued his question.
"How are you sentient? I mean what in the holy hell is going on here? We have a sentient heaven will and a complacent heaven that doesn't do shit, a world will outside the jurisdiction of everyone and why is there no world system?"
"I also got the same question." Vena inputted from behind.
The world will? Shrugged her shoulder and said:
"This might take a while."
"Go on, I am sure I won't be waking up anytime soon."
He replied.
Vena clapped, and suddenly, three distinct chairs materialized behind each of them.
As the chairs took shape from lines of code, Azel found himself seated on a simple black chair with red markings.
In contrast, the world will settle into a dark green chair adorned with brown flowers on the armrest.
While Vena was well Vena.
As they eased into their seats, they awaited the world's will's words.
The world crossed her legs and deeply contemplated where to start up.
After some nods she began to speak.
"I am sentient and separate because the celestial changed the course of everything, as you well know a world system is inbuilt or sometimes assigned to a world whose inhabitants have established themselves as an intellectual race and are very knowledgeable in the use of mana."
"Yes, I know that," Azel said acknowledging what the world would say.
"But you see all that didn't happen because of the war."
She said solemnly.
"you see mortals didn't have any way of defending themselves when they were attacked so they hoped the Celestials to save them, the celestials did save them, but mortals being mortals weren't satisfied although they were safe, millions and possibly billions of life were lost and do the celestials cried out to heaven to grant them a way to become stronger, a way to become more powerful, to be strong enough to defend themselves and heaven granted their wish it gave them.... "
"The interface.. "
Azel finished her sentence and asked with a hint of evident doubt in his voice.
"But that doesn't explain why you hate the celestial and heaven."
The world will chuckle and cover her mouth.
"And how do you a blind man know that I hate them?"
She asked curiously.
"Your aura, your speech everything reeks of hate for heaven and the celestials, there isn't a modicum of respect or servitude for them in all of your sayings."
Azel said prompting her to think deeply and wonder if she had let anything slip.
"So there is no need for the story is there?"
She said while adjusting herself and placing her hands up in surrender.
"Given the fact that we are on the same page... I think not, though I would love to hear it another time but maybe not now."
Azel answered her.
"He did say you are pretty smart."
The world will say with a smile..... Or what I think is a smile.
Azel raised his brows wondering who she was referring to.
"..... Who might that be?"
"Our mutual friend."
"....."
"Holy moly, you have a friend."
Vena exclaimed in exaggeration.
"please drop the exaggeration, have had many friends."
He defensively replied to her.
"Is it the same friends you end up killing, maiming or just woefully ruining their lives."
"... I mean it not that..."
Realisation suddenly hit Azel, he had no true friends, none to call a best friend or a childhood friend.
"Mmmggsh."
The world will clear her throat seizing the two attention.
"Seeing that two of you look busy, I drop this and make an open link in case you need to reach me."
She brought out a small jade property disk and passed it to Vena, then she elegantly stood up and gave a small smile to Azel.
"I will be seeing you."
"Same," Azel replied to her.
Complex glowing squares with weird writings and drawings emerged beneath her feet and she slowly faded away.
.
.
"Is she gone?"
Azel asked.
"yeah, she is."
"Good." He breathed out in relief and sat more comfortably on the chair.
Vena lifted her chair closer and placed it right in front of Azel.
"Why didn't you let her continue with her questions?"
Vena genuinely asked.
"You know the answer already."
Azel retorted while pointing at Vena and then his head.
"Ugh, it's called making a conversation besides I don't want to be anywhere near your thoughts it's chaotic."
"... "
"Pwease."
She said with both of her hands in a pleading gesture, which sadly was more creepy than cute, cause she was currently a human pile of floating code.
Azel shaked his head and gave in, expressing the facts he didn't trust because there were a lot of plot holes in her story also she is not who she says she is..
"do you understand?"
Vena nodded her head to Azel's question.
"But.... "
"I understand your concern, but we must work with what we have."
"If you say so.... get ready you are about to wake up."
She warned him.
Heeding her warning he sat upright and prepared himself for a consciousness warp.
He closed his eyes and felt his conscious being pulled back into existence.
.
.
Vena stared at the place where our host was sitting and on her glowing code-floating face she made a very, deep soul sad smile.
"I hope the abyss of vengeance doesn't consume you."
