Chapter Fifty-Four – Messenger
Zara warned. "The Alpha is injured but the younger brother said they would be letting it go."
Asher leaned on the wall, a serious expression came to his face. "Slime got badly beaten up too. I won't let it go."
Wasn't it his fault it happened in the first place? Zara began leaving. It was his shit to deal with. She had delivered the message that was brought to her.
"You can tell that to their messenger. He's still down the mountain…" A form sped past her.
Was he really going to tell the messenger? She rushed down. Why did she try using sarcasm on that literal idiot? She met him but he just watched the messenger leave.
"Isn't that a Lycan?" Asher asked when she got close.
"Obviously."
"They use a Lycan as their messenger? I thought it'd be a werewolf. You see, I have this new drug I made…." He paused, holding her hand that was going towards his face.
