Chapter Twenty-Eight – Purr
Stefan's forehead creased. Was she always this ungrateful or was it because it was him?
He noticed her eyes lingered on his chest, he smirked. "You say wear a shirt but you're staring?'"
"Are you're not wearing a shirt so I'd stare then?" Laurel asked back.
Stefan frowned. She always had something to say.
"And believe me, I've seen better." Laurel added.
He wouldn't believe it but up in her room, kept in a high tower like a Rapunzel, she could watch the hunters train.
They were shirtless almost all the time. Sweaty, glistening bodies under the sun were her usual sight.
She got so sick of it, actually, she never fancied it. Her heart always hurt that hunters got to train but she didn't so watching them was painful.
"You must have." Stefan agreed. "You're a princess that many young males would throw themselves on."
