"What?" Dazed, she repeated, both annoyed and shocked by the revelation. If he already knew all of this, why did he assume things and make her feel bad?
"What's so surprising about that? Like you said, I have great connections," triumphantly, he chuckled and straightened his clothes.
"Alpha Fernando!" Holding herself back from cursing at him, she called his name instead.
"Luna Angel," not a bit intimidated by her, he called back and winked at her.
"Then why did you assume things?" Not understanding his reason for acting clueless, she inquired.
"No amount of research can discover one's true feelings. I did that to know if you had feelings for him at all but I was right after all." He explained.
"So does this make you feel better?" Rolling her eyes, she asked.

"Right, your physical strength needs work. Juliet will easily kill you at this rate," annoying her, he advised and started walking away.
