Chapter 60 - Sofa

"She is still unconscious," standing in front of Fernando, Phillip disclosed. They were both in his study room going through some files.

"Bring the doctor here," Fernando ordered.

Phillip had a lot to say but he was refraining from overstepping his boundary. Unfortunately, he wasn't beside Fernando when the whole thing happened, he would have helped Angel. He was really worried about Angel, especially now that no one knew if she was pregnant.

"What if she miscarried?" He asked, unable to hold in his curiosity. More than anyone, Fernando knew Angel had to be treated gently, why would he hurt her? They were mates for goodness sake, at least protecting her wasn't too much.

"That's why I asked you to bring the doctor here," glaring at him, Fernando repeated but Phillip wasn't moved a bit. That was his excuse for hurting his mate, over a concubine? He knew Angel must hate him so much since Juliet was his sister, and he was ashamed of being her brother.
