"How long until we can warp again, Doc?" Henry asked, through the ship comms.
"The doctor is working, Agent. Please do not distract her," Lanni's voice responded, her tone admonishing.
"Ahh, fuck!" Dr. Levington's voice cursed in the comms.
"Are you ok in there?" Henry asked, containing his laughter.
"I'm fine. Just busted my knuckles trying to tighten a bolt…"
"I told you I could deal with the repair work as long as you guided me. Why did you insist on doing everything yourself? You've clearly never been the builder type…" Henry mocked, walking toward the warp generator room.
"This is a delicate piece of machinery, the likes of which a man of your uneducated upbringing shouldn't touch!" she replied, her voice going up.
"Plus, I need the hands-on experience, and you need to focus on keeping your eyes outside the ship. We are in enemy territory!" she shouted in her comm as Henry turned the corner into the room.
