"You did WHAT?!" Joseph burst into shouting.
He saw Henry on the screen start to chuckle, and his face became beet red.
"I know you must be furious right now. Hell, I'm sure I can hear you shouting across the vastness of space. But, let me make something abundantly clear. I had no choice.
"If I hadn't gone into Tamarain territory, the people following me would have chased me to the end of the known universe. And I was about to end up with no fuel. But don't worry. I'm not stranded.
"Although I will need to resupply soon after sending this message, Laani and Dr. Levington have found ways to camouflage ourselves from the Tamarains. We'll lie low for a while, and I'll try to send another message when I can.
