At the headquarters of the vampire hunters located in Tokyo, the headquarters is a tall building mostly made of glass, the color of the building itself is white and on the top of the building is a the logo of a hospital, most of their bases take on the form of regular businesses or buildings on the outside but on the inside they have their own meeting place which can only be accessed by vampire hunters, the headquarters however can only be accessed if you are requested for or you are a high ranking vampire hunter. A group of people about three of them wearing hoods walk into the hospital and make their way into the elevator, when the elevator door shuts one of them says something like a pledge, then suddenly the place where the elevator buttons are suddenly change into the frame of a palm, one of them puts their palm in the frame and starts to channel divine energy through their palm and then the elevator starts to move, it goes down really fast. Once the elevator stops the door opens and then we see the environment has changed no nurses or doctor or patients it's all people in black suits, the floor made out of black marbled tiles, and it's unbelievably big that you wonder how people can build something this big right under a building, the environment is very serious and tense almost suffocating, the three of them make their way through and follow the stairs to go downstairs. They finally reach a heavily guarded door, they remove their hoods the men guarding the door immediately recognize the person in the middle of the three standing before them and let them in. Once they enter the room the atmosphere changes once again almost as if there is a remote controlling it, this room feels so calm and peaceful yet so commanding, every inch of the room is white and nothing more almost as if gods reside there. In the middle of the room is an old man sitting on a white chair and white desk,
"Thank you for coming on such short notice"
says the old man to the four people standing in the room, the one in the middle of the four steps out, he is average height with black straight hair, he has a friendly and young face but his aura says "ego"
"It's our pleasure sir" he says as he bows
"Cocky as ever shoyo" says the old man
The other two are females and when you take a proper look at them it looks more like their guarding him rather than just standing beside him, when shoyo raises his hand we finally get a good view at what's happening, he's hands are cuffed and the two women are guarding him like a criminal
"So why did you call for me old man"
"That tone of yours is still as arrogant as ever"
"Just talk what is so important that you had them bring a criminal like me"
"With your strength you could easily be a captain, if only you were sane"
"Get to the point already"
"Anyway I'm only call in for you because you are the only one strong enough that is not busy right now all the captains and their squads have been dispatched on missions. I sent some kids on a mission to find out what has been going on in Kyoto however I'm afraid that the situation has gotten serious, some new threats have appeared in Kyoto where they were dispatched too and these threats haven't attacked yet they are just watching"
"So if they aren't doing anything what's the problem?"
"The problem is they have power that rivals and some even surpass the captains, and there is only one group of vampires with that much power"
"The syndicate"
"Yes the syndicate is a vampire terrorist group we have been trying to locate for years, from the information we gathered the syndicate is made up of elder vampires"
"Woah, if that's true then we are all in big trouble"
"Indeed, now is our chance we have finally found them we can't let the chance to get even the tiniest information slip our hands, plus I can't let any of this children die especially the red haired boy he is our only ray of hope in purging this world of vampires"
"So what do you want me to do?"
"I want you to go there and assess the situation if possible take down one of the elder vampires, gather as much information on them as much as possible and save those kids"
"Ah, I pretty much get the gist of it but what do I stand to benefit from this?"
" if you do this we will be indebted to you and you will be released on the condition that you will not harm anyone"
"Ah that's a really nice deal old man I can't turn it down, but how am I gonna do anything if my hands are like this?"
The old man signals the women to release his cuffs
"Ah it feels so good to be free, but how am I gonna get to Kyoto from here?"
"Incase you don't know we have learned how to access portals,however it requires more than 50 hunters for the procedure and it takes a while, go into the first room you see on your right after you leave this room they have already started preparations for the portal"
"I'm off now, you better keep your promise old man" says shoyo as he leaves the room.
(BACK IN KYOTO)
Katsuragi and Ryou are heavily injured but still trying to find taiyou by sensing his divine energy, weaker vampires have started showing up and are sucking humans dry, but the humans can't see them because they have no divine energy
"Ryou, let's stop tracking taiyou he can take care of himself for now let's focus on hunting these other vampires killing humans"
Ryou nods in response, so they start hunting the weaker vampires instead.
Taiyou and the vampire are going at it trading blow for blow
"I'm really impressed you can keep up with me brat"
The vampire punches taiyou in the stomach and sends him flying and crashing into a building, Taiyou gets up from the rubble and hears the whimpering voice of a child, Taiyou opens his eyes in anger to see a little girl behind him and her parents dead on the floor sucked dry of blood and their guts split open on the floor, he notices the vampire behind the girl and quickly flings himself at it and exorcises it, he turns to the girl who is shaking, crying scared and probably traumatized he hugs her
" you must have suffered having to watch you parents die, but it's ok now I'm gonna protect you, those filthy bastards"
Suddenly the vampire appears at taiyou's front at the speed of sound and kicks him
"Oi focus on the fight, saying things like you will protect someone when you can't even protect yourself" mocks the vampire, he walks towards taiyou, he sees taiyou is on a knees and he is protecting something with his arms, the thing taiyou is protecting is the little girl however it seems he took a lot of damage from taking the damage head on to protect the little girl
"Stay behind me" Taiyou tells the little girl
"Wow how heroic i must commend you, it makes me want to vomit. To think you will put yourself on the line for someone you just met for a fragile little human like her"
"You people I keep understanding how much you disregard life"
"What is the value of a single life to you?"
"It's value can't be measured, every life is precious and you have no right to take one, the way you creatures don't value life makes me want to exterminate all of you"
"You are the embodiment of good, it makes me sick"
"Say what you will, I'm gonna protect this girl even if it costs me my life"
"Let's see if you can keep that promise"
They both take a fighting stance and in the blink of an eye that clash again, at first the fight starts out on equal footing but eventually the vampire gets the upper hand as taiyou is weak and getting tired. The vampire is rushing taiyou with a barrage of punches and kicks but taiyou is managing to evade most of them, then the vampire notices the girl
"Gotcha" he says
The vampire lunges at the girl and tries to slash her neck using his nails but taiyou jumps at her front and his face gets slashed instead and his left eye also gets seriously damaged, but taiyou doesn't react to this instead he lands a direct punch on the vampires heart with divine energy the vampire bleeds from his ears and eyes due to the impact of this punch from taiyou, and taiyou takes advantage of this by launching a barrage of attacks on him
"I have to take advantage of this time to wearing him then exorcise him"
When taiyou is about to land the final attack on the vampires heart it grabs his arm and punches his face and sends taiyou flying
"You bastard, I must commend you for pushing me this far but it's time to get serious" he proceeds to infuse his palms with divine energy for the first time since the fight started,
Taiyou also proceeds to channel his divine energy however the output is low because he has used it continuously in the fight
"You've lost an eye now, your left eye is clearly gone you won't be able to keep up with me anymore"
Taiyou doesn't say a thing instead he just looks at the vampire dead in the eye, he attacks first this time but the vampire dodges with ease and retaliates with a heavy blow on taiyou's face, the vampires movement has become more slick and fast taiyou can't keep up anymore, he is on the defensive and can't attack the fight becomes one sided
"This is the end!!" Yells the vampire
As he's about to stab taiyou through the heart with his nails, but to his surprise taiyou dodges and uppercuts him then proceeds to kicks him in the ribs
"How did he dodge that? And how are his punches and kicks so heavy now?"
Then the vampire notices something going on with taiyou, notices that the divine energy isn't just flowing to his fist anymore it's flowing throughout his entire body and his body is looking more refined
"I get it now, this boy he adapted to the situation and immediately he knew he couldn't beat me when it came to using divine energy, he's physical strength on its own is way stronger than mine but I am lore refined when it comes to us ring divine energy, and once he understood what to do his body responded on its own by circulating the flow divine energy throughout his body then using it to enhance his own physical abilities so he is faster and stronger now, he has adapted within a matter of minutes and the way he developed after adapting is incredible I've never seen such talent, I need to eliminate this boy right here and now if not he could pose a serious threat for us in the future".
The fight has reached its climax, who will come out victorious taiyou or the strange vampire whose goals are yet to be known?
