The fight is at its peak, both of them tired and exhausted, but still they are both ready to kill each other. The vampire attacks taiyou in an attempt to rip out his throat but taiyou grabs his hand and counters with a knee to the stomach and the a right hook, the fight continues and this time it's on equal footing as taiyou has adapted to the fight, they are trading blows one after the other with each one getting weaker and weaker as their blood splash all over the place, the vampire then starts attacking taiyou from the left where he can't see anymore, he uses this to his advantage and doesn't give taiyou the chance to strike back, but he is so engrossed in the fight that he forgets about his environment then he loses his footing and is about to fall, in this instance and moment taiyou understood that it was now or never he had to finish it now he had to deal the killing blow now as it would be his last and only opportunity, and he takes the opportunity and lands a direct punch on the vampires heart, the vampire coughs up a pool of blood before falling down which means the fight has ended int taiyou's victory, Taiyou falls to his knees "I can't move again" he looks over at the little girl still scared but at least she was safe now
"I was able to protect her and I actually won" or so he thinks, because the vampire gets up from the ground and starts walking again
"Hahaha, you thought you could defeat me? I have two hundred years of experience, no matter how much of a prodigy you are it's just the way things work, he looks at the little girl
"You have been annoying I'm gonna have to kill you, hahaha let's we how it feels to lose something you have your life for"
"Stop leave her alone, she just a kid"
The vampire walks past taiyou, Taiyou tries to move but he can't because he has over exerted his body
"Move, move!!! Move you piece of shit you can't let her die"
Suddenly the vampire feels something clinging onto his leg, he looks back to see its taiyou but this time it's not the same taiyou, his eyeballs t are pitch black as if you were staring into darkness itself just like the day his sister died,
"Don't touch her"
the vampire feels fear just by looking into his eyes, but non the less he kicks taiyou's arm away and taiyou passes out, he approaches the her and then grabs the little girl by the throat
"Ahh I've been waiting to do this for so long, now you shall die by my hands"
He is about to slit her throat, but all of a sudden his body can't move again and he is frozen solid
"What's this this divine pressure I've never felt something so overwhelming even from the elders, I can't even breath properly"
The vampire turns around slowly to see who is emitting such divine pressure and to his surprise it's taiyou, however it's not the same taiyou he fought and his wounds have healed, this time his hair is black and his eye balls are as black as darkness itself, the vampire starts shaking just by locking eyes with him
"What type of fear is this? I'm shaking like a newborn"
"Who" says taiyou with a voice so deep it's as if darkness had a voice and as dry as a nuclear blast.
Katsuragi and Ryou are still hunting down the weaker vampires who are killing people, suddenly everything stopes moving both the vampires and the hunters(katsuragi and Ryou) it's the presence of someone no something, something so evil and overwhelming, then from the shadows emerges the only creature able to move the one emanating such overwhelming divine pressure is non other than a vampire, however this vampire is different from the others, this one has a young a face like that of a teenager and has dark spiky hair he looks about the same age with katsuragi and Ryou, he is tall and lanky, what he is wearing is not visible as he is wearing a black cloak the same griffin symbol on his cloak, and on his forehead he has a marking but it isn't if a language either katsuragi or Ryou have seen before.
"This one is different from the others" says ryou
"If we move we'll die" says katsuragi
And then as fast as the speed of light he appears right in front of katsuragi and Ryou and places his arms around them
"He's fast, I didn't see him, I couldn't even hear his footsteps even though he was right in front of us" says katsuragi in his head
"So you are the one father wants" he says with an evil grin on his face while looking at katsuragi
" Me?" Asks katsuragi
"Well I guess a survivor of the katsuragi clan is perfect, I'm gonna have to take you alive"
He proceeds to knock them both out by flexing his divine pressure, he catches katsuragi but let's Ryou fall.
"I guess I'll just kill this one since he is of no use to us"
As he is about to kill Ryou someone holds his arm, it's shoyo and he has finally arrived at the battle field
"And who might you be?"
"Just someone who needs to kick your ass so he can live normally again"
Suddenly the mysterious vampire also feels the overwhelming presence and divine pressure coming from taiyou
"This power, it's overwhelming even from here"
The vampire suddenly disappears ( he didn't disappear his just moved so fast it looks like he disappeared).
The vampire drops the girl and gets on his two knees
"I'm sorry for breathing the same air as you, please spare me and don't kill me, I'll let the girl go"
Taiyou grins devilishly
"How disappointing, your so pathetic, you beg for your life now after everything you've done and all the humans you've killed"
"Please forgive me I won't do it again I swear on it"
"Amusing, if your truly sorry then kill yourself"
"What?"
"Did I stutter?"
"No it's just that-"
"You have five seconds to do it or I'll help you with it"
The vampire suddenly starts using his own nails to tear open his own stomach as his guts fall out of his stomach, then he removes his heart and starts to eat it until he dies
"How boring" Taiyou looks at the girl then walks away, while he is walking someone appears in front of him, it's the same cloaked vampire who has taken katsuragi custody
"There's no doubt you are the one emitting such potent divine energy"
Taiyou notices katsuragi on the vampires shoulder
"What do you plan on doing with him?" Asks taiyou
"I will answer that if you let me know what you want?"
" what u want? are you questioning me?"
"Such an arrogant attitude"
"What I want is non of your business, get lost unless you wanna get hurt "
"Do you think you stand a chance against me?"
"You don't know what I am and what I can do"
"How about we have some fun? However you can't fight me just yet, you will first have to have to get past my minions" says the vampire as he disappears once again. Taiyou starts to suddenly sense their divine energy everywhere and pinpoints their location
"Ah so they're surrounding me, about eighty of them, and they are all on the same level as the one whom I just told to kill himself" he starts to cackle" this is gonna be fun". The other vampire watches from a distance.
The vampires start to attack taiyou all at once, he watches them as they are about to attack, he then removes his hands from his pocket and says "hunting techniques open"
He then makes black flames out of nothing but divine energy
"Impossible, he has the power of materializing divine energy" says the vampire while watching form a distance, Taiyou turns the black flames into arrows and a bow and then shoots them at the vampires coming and they immediately burn to ash as it hits them, some try attacking him head on however he just uses one hand to fight them and he is completely overpowering them, then he notices some are approaching him from the air so he creates a black spear from divine energy and throws it at the vampires trying to approach from above and it impales about ten of them at once.
The cloaked vampire watching from a distance smirks"he is strong but he won't be able to stop what's gonna happen now".
Suddenly about ninety vampires jump in an attempt to kill taiyou all at once but he just grins and he pauses
"Fall" says taiyou
And all the vampires drop dead
"Impossible he has THE WHISPER" says the cloaked vampire
"Hmm, they're all dead now, so why don't you and I have some fun? Come out" says taiyou, then someone suddenly hugs him from behind
"Please taiyou stop, I don't like seeing you like this it hurts" says kimiko as she is crying and hugs taiyou from behind "please stop this isn't like you, I can't bear to see you like this"
"Oi, I'll give you five seconds to let go and move, or you'll die" says taiyou in disgust
Kimiko can feel it she can feel he isn't joking when he says it but she doesn't let go
"I believe your still in there taiyou, please come out" sobs kimiko, Taiyou is glares at her
"Your really annoying" he is about to crush her throat then someone holds his hand, it's shoyo
"Oi I don't know what's going on here but I was told to rescue the three hunters that were dispatched here, I'm guessing your one of them but the old man told me they were three boys"
"Let go"
"And what if I don't?" Taiyou chuckles,
"Let go" Taiyou repeats and this time shoyo let's go
"Why did I do what he told me?"
"I have no business which humans why do you keep interfering?"
"I don't wanna do this but unfortunately this is the only way I get to be free" says shoyo as he takes a stance
"Ahh finally, please make this fun"
Shoyo attacks first and tries to strike taiyou but taiyou dodges with ease while pocketing
"Ah, come one you can surely do better than that"
He attacks taiyou continuously but it's all in vain as he is dodging all his attacks with ease
"I can't hit him, he's too fast. I'll have to have to use divine energy and use my hunting technique" shoyo pulls out a pistol and channels his divine energy through it
"What an interesting technique but do you think I won't be able to dodge a bullet?"
Shoyo shoots a bullet and the taiyou dodges it
"Useless"
Then to his surprise the same bullet ricochets passes through his head, Taiyou puts his hand on his head and looks at his palm
"Blood? Amazing"
His head heals up instantaneously
"If you take one of this to the heart then your done"
"But how did I get hit Im sure I dodged it"
"You won't be able to beat me"
Shoyo shoots another bullet and taiyou dodges again but it still hits his arm
"I get it now, your technique when you shoot the bullet it ricochets of air, not air but it uses the divine energy of its surroundings a surface and then it bounces of them and comes back to hit me with even greater speed, marvelous"
Taiyou has discovered how shoyo's ability works, this time shoyo starts firing at Taiyou continuously, while taiyou is dodging he uses it to his advantage and closes the space between them faster than the blink of an eye and punches taiyou which sends him flying to a building, Taiyou doesn't crash into the building he just lands on its surface, shoyo starts to shoot at him but he dodges the bullets fairly easily, shoyo jumps up to the surface of the building where taiyou is
"That's a nice hunting technique you've got there, if you want to play with guns I can also play that way" says taiyou
"What?" Says shoyo
"Let me show you, make sure to dodge it" Taiyou says as he points his two fingers towards shoyo like a gun then suddenly a small black ball of energy forms in front of his two fingers,
"KAMI-DAN" says taiyou as he shoots the tiny ball of energy with his two fingers, shoyo barely manages to dodge the ball of energy, and as the little ball of energy comes in contact with one of the buildings behind them it blows up a two whole buildings
"I was lucky to dodge that, the damage of that attack is like that of a small nuclear weapon, luckily there should be no one in those buildings as it is way past work time"
Taiyou moves so quickly it's as if light itself moved, he grabs shoyo's head and drags it through the rough surface as he runs up the roof, he then throws shoyo to the roof and jumps after him and they both land on the roof, shoyo manages to drag himself up but has taken serious damage and coughs up blood
"Ah come on now you mustn't stop trying, come on give me more, I'll continue to play with you till you eventually break"
"This bastard he's way stronger than I anticipated, I have to get the other three and leave here" shoyo says and tries escaping
"Freeze" says taiyou as he looks at shoyo with a face of disgust, shoyo completely halts and doesn't move even a single muscle
"What's wrong my body suddenly feels cold and why am I doing what he says?"
"Come"
Shoyo starts to walk towards taiyou
"Stop moving" shoyo says to himself
"Aren't you cold?"
"Yes I am"
When he finally reaches taiyou, he grabs him by the neck
"You amused me for a little while" says taiyou as he is about to land the killing blow on shoyo someone suddenly appears out of nowhere and grabs his arm,
"Hah, who are you?"
He looks up and recognizes the face, it's kenzo , he punches taiyou and sends him flying to the ground, Taiyou gets up and dusts his clothes
"This one he is strong, Finally someone interesting"
Kenzo lands on the ground and is now standing opposite taiyou
"What are you?"
"Isn't it obvious i am taiyou's soul we are the same this is still me"
"I don't know what's gotten into you kid or why you hair color is suddenly black but I'm gonna have to beat some sense back into you"
"Come at me"
The both flex an their immense divine pressure on each other but non of them waver, as their about to lungs at each other someone tugs taiyou's trouser from behind, Taiyou turns around and sees the person tugging his shirt is the little girl he saved, she is sniffling and clinging onto taiyou like a magnet, Taiyou Confucius to stare at the girl then a tear drops from his eye
"Thank god" he goes in his knees and his hair turns into its original red color, his eyes back to their normal color.
"I'm glad" Taiyou mumbles as he is sobbing
"I'm glad, I was able to protect you, but now your parents are dead I couldn't even protect them, if only I had made it slightly earlier i may have been able to save them forgive me" he says sobbing in front of the little girl, but she walks up to taiyou and cleans the tears in his eyes then hugs him
"Thank you" says the little girl, as she utters those words it feels as if a she wrote something important in his heart, he hugs her back
"No thank you"
Kenzo walks up to taiyou
"You guys did well, I'm proud, however there were a lot of casualties and destruction"
Taiyou looks around and notices the destroyed buildings and the dead bodies of both humans and vampires he then vaguely remembers some things that he did while he was in that state
"This damage most of it was caused by me, I killed people"
"No you didn't however you did destroy a lot, and the source of that unfathomable power, any way what do you plan on doing with this little girl?"
"She lost her parents and has no one else, I'm gonna watch over her as my little sister"
"That's a huge responsibility considering your line of work"
"How did you get here in time sensei?"
"Oh, it was easy I never went on the mission company eight was dispatched to, I had a feeling something more was going on here so I had to do my own research somewhere near Kyoto"
" I see, where are the others? Katsuragi, Ryou and kimiko?"
"They took kimiko and left katsuragi for some reason I don't know"
"They took kimiko? Where?"
"The realm of the vampires, a place that exist between this world and the supernatural"
"Let's go get her, we can't let them have her"
"Not yet, not like this, we're not even sure if we will be allowed to, so just relax and let's go back to HQ to report what just happened"
